Learning to dive starts here with a structured certification course designed to take beginners from zero experience to a recognised PADI qualification. Across three days, training combines theory, confined practice, and open water dives under close instructor supervision. Each stage is delivered at a steady pace so skills can develop gradually in real diving conditions.
Course introduction begins with a full briefing where your instructor explains the structure of the certification and what will be covered across the three days. Initial training typically focuses on basic scuba theory and equipment familiarisation before moving into confined water practice to build comfort and control.
Progression continues with open water dives where newly learned skills are applied in real sea conditions under direct supervision. Each dive builds confidence gradually, covering core exercises such as buoyancy control, mask clearing, and underwater navigation. Between sessions, time is spent reviewing performance, resting onboard, and preparing for the next stage of training, with meals and refreshments included throughout the day.
Training takes place in Hurghada, a well-established diving hub on the Red Sea known for its accessible reef systems and beginner-friendly conditions. The wider region also includes departures from nearby resort areas, allowing flexible pickup across popular coastal destinations.
Boat sessions head out to nearby dive sites selected for calm waters and clear visibility, supporting safe learning conditions. The combination of sheltered reefs and short travel times helps maximise time spent practising underwater skills.
No previous diving experience is required, as this course is designed for complete beginners. All essential skills are introduced step by step during the training process.
Basic comfort in the water is recommended, along with the ability to follow instruction from your dive instructor. Medical fitness for scuba diving is also required before certification can be completed.
Private instruction ensures each student receives focused guidance tailored to their learning pace throughout the course. Training is delivered in a structured way so confidence builds steadily from theory through to open water dives.
Experienced instructors provide continuous supervision across all stages, maintaining a strong focus on safety and clear communication. The course is designed to balance learning, practice, and rest so the experience remains manageable over three days.
