Your adventure begins with convenient hotel pickup in Hurghada before heading to the horse stable. Set off on a guided ride across the desert landscape and along the beautiful Red Sea coastline, enjoying a mix of sandy trails, open scenery, and beach views.
Continue toward the water for a memorable opportunity to enter the shallow sea with your horse, where conditions allow. The experience combines desert riding, beach exploration, and swimming with the horse in one adventure. After your ride, relax on the return transfer to your hotel in Hurghada.
Start at the stable, where the team helps you mount your horse, adjust the equipment, and get comfortable before setting off with your guide. Ride across open desert trails and continue toward the Red Sea coastline, enjoying changing scenery and selected stops for photos along the way.
The guide adjusts the riding pace according to the group’s experience and trail conditions, making the experience suitable for both beginners and more confident riders. Walking and trotting are common, while faster riding is only possible when conditions are suitable and the guide considers it safe.
Continue along the beach before enjoying one of the experience’s most memorable moments: entering the shallow Red Sea with your horse for a refreshing swim, when sea conditions allow. After completing your beach and desert adventure, your transfer will take you back to your hotel in Hurghada.
The horse-riding experience takes place in the Hurghada area, where the Red Sea coastline meets the open desert landscape. The riding route combines sandy desert trails with beautiful coastal scenery and access to the beach for the swimming-with-horses part of the adventure.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included from the main Hurghada resort areas. Please provide your hotel name when booking and be ready at reception at the confirmed pickup time. Transfer times may vary depending on your hotel location and traffic conditions.
First-timers can join with a normal fitness level. You should be comfortable following a guide and happy with the physical side of the activity.
Practical kit means sun cream, sensible clothes and closed shoes on rough ground. Say any medical conditions or dietary needs when you confirm your place.
Included transfers mean you are not hunting taxis or marina timings on activity morning. Local guides know the tracks and trails they use through the season and adjust for heat and sand conditions.
Guides pick tracks and pacing based on the day rather than a rigid timetable. That flexibility helps you get the safest, most enjoyable session available.
We'll collect you from your Hurghada hotel and take you to the start point. Be ready with the kit listed for this session and any voucher details. The crew talk through safety, timing and how the horse riding will run before you head out.
The core of the day is guided horse riding time in the Red Sea. Stay with your group, listen to the briefing and ask if you want a slower pace or extra help with kit. Listen to spacing advice and riding tips from your guide and stay with the group unless told otherwise.
Take a breather between active sections, drink water and check kit with your guide before continuing with the second part of the session. Your guide stays close throughout and can slow the pace if you want extra help with kit, a slower pace on the trail.
After the last section you transfer back to your hotel in Hurghada. The whole experience is about 4 hours door to door, so keep the rest of your schedule flexible. Gather your belongings, thank the crew and double-check you have towels, dry clothes and anything you left on the boat or at the base before you leave.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Hurghada area is part of this experience. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given.
Build the whole 4-hour shape into your day rather than planning something tight immediately afterwards. Traffic along resort roads can slow the van.
No previous experience is required for this horse riding. Your guide briefs you before you start and stays close while you try the activity.
Say if you are nervous or a new to riding so the crew can pace the session and offer flotation where it helps.
Light refreshments may be offered depending on the format. Carry water and a snack if you eat breakfast early.
Soft drinks beyond what is served may be extra. Bring cash if you want extras on the boat or at the base.
Practical kit is comfortable clothes for the activity, sun protection and a towel. Closed shoes help on boats and in the desert.
Bring a phone pouch or leave valuables at the hotel. Reef-safe sunscreen matters on long days in the sun. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
Activity equipment is provided for the session. Bring your own mask or riding boots only if you prefer gear you already know.
Fit helmets, life jackets or harnesses before you start so you are not adjusting them mid-session. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
This runs for groups from 1 to 15 people. Smaller groups mean more attention from your guide on the trail or in the dunes.
Private formats keep the whole boat or vehicle to your party. Follow the guide's spacing on the trail.
About 4 hours including collection and the main activity time. Keep the whole window free rather than squeezing other plans around it.
A late appearance at reception or the meeting point shortens time on the activity because the session leaves with the group.
Families are welcome when children are comfortable with the activity format. Infant seats may be available on transfers where listed.
Say ages when you book so the crew can plan seating, kit sizes and pacing on the water or in the desert.
This activity needs workable conditions. If wind, sea state or sand storms rule it out, the crew may reschedule or switch sites.
You will be told as early as they can once morning conditions are clear. Have a loose plan for the rest of the day.
Give your hotel name and a reachable phone number when you book. We'll confirm the pickup window or meeting pin closer to the day.
Notes are the place for dietary needs, ages, or a later pickup if you have an evening plan after the session.
