This half day brings together a parasailing flight with hotel collection in Hurghada. A short boat tow lifts you above the coast for wide Red Sea views before a gentle descent back to the deck. Briefing, kit and pacing are handled by the crew so you can enjoy the ride or reef time.
From the speedboat you clip into the harness on the aft deck before the tow line lifts you. Ascent and descent are controlled from the boat, and you can often dip your feet in the water before landing back on deck. Wear swimwear under light clothes and secure phones before take-off. The tow boat crew control ascent and descent, and you can often dip your feet in the water before landing back on deck.
Calm mornings suit parasailing best when the Red Sea is flatter and the breeze is lighter. Flights are short but memorable, with wide coastal views from the tow height and a smooth return to the boat. You return to your hotel or meeting point after the last active section, with transfer time built into the overall length.
Hurghada lines Egypt's central Red Sea coast, with resort hotels along a long strip between the airport and old town. Boats leave from marinas a short van ride from reception, and reef sites sit offshore in clear water.
Included collection reaches standard Hurghada resort hotels, with pickup times confirmed closer to the day. Leave a little buffer at reception in case the van is delayed along the strip, and share your hotel name and phone number when you book.
First-timers can join with a normal fitness level. You should be comfortable following a guide and happy with the physical side of the activity.
Practical kit means sun cream, sensible clothes and closed shoes on rough ground. Say any medical conditions or dietary needs when you confirm your place.
Hotel pickup and return simplify the day so you travel once each way. Activity kit is handled at the marina or on the boat, so you are not sorting hire gear in town.
Reef and route choices follow morning sea state rather than forcing a fixed offshore schedule. That local knowledge matters on the Red Sea, where afternoon breeze is common in season.
We'll collect you from your Hurghada hotel and take you to the start point. Be ready with the kit listed for this session and any voucher details. The crew talk through safety, timing and how the parasailing will run before you head out.
The core of the day is guided parasailing time in the Red Sea. Stay with your group, listen to the briefing and ask if you want a slower pace or extra help with kit. Listen to paddle commands, spacing advice or riding tips from your guide and stay with the group unless told otherwise.
Take a breather between active sections, drink water and check kit with your guide before continuing with the second part of the session. Your guide stays close throughout and can slow the pace if you want extra help with kit, spacing in the water or a quieter route on the trail.
After the last section you transfer back to your hotel in Hurghada. The whole experience is about 1 hours door to door, so keep the rest of your schedule flexible. Gather your belongings, thank the crew and double-check you have towels, dry clothes and anything you left on the boat or at the base before you leave.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Hurghada area is part of this experience. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given.
Build the whole 1-hour shape into your day rather than planning something tight immediately afterwards. Traffic along resort roads can slow the van.
No previous experience is required for this parasailing. Your guide briefs you before you start and stays close while you try the activity.
Say if you are nervous or a weak swimmer so the crew can pace the session and offer flotation where it helps.
Light refreshments may be offered depending on the format. Carry water and a snack if you eat breakfast early.
Soft drinks beyond what is served may be extra. Bring cash if you want extras on the boat or at the base.
Practical kit is swimwear or comfortable clothes for the activity, sun protection and a towel. Closed shoes help on boats and in the desert.
A dry bag keeps phones off wet decks. Reef-safe sunscreen matters on long days in the Hurghada sun. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
Activity equipment is provided for the session. Bring your own mask or riding boots only if you prefer gear you already know.
Fit helmets, life jackets or harnesses before you start so you are not adjusting them mid-session. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
This runs for groups from 1 to 15 people. Smaller groups mean more attention from your guide on the water or in the dunes.
Private formats keep the whole boat or vehicle to your party. Follow the guide's spacing in the water and on trails.
About 1 hours including collection and the main activity time. Keep the whole window free rather than squeezing other plans around it.
A late appearance at reception or the meeting point shortens time on the activity because the session leaves with the group.
Families are welcome when children are comfortable with the activity format. Infant seats may be available on transfers where listed.
Say ages when you book so the crew can plan seating, kit sizes and pacing on the water or in the desert.
This activity needs workable conditions. If wind, sea state or sand storms rule it out, the crew may reschedule or switch sites.
You will be told as early as they can once morning conditions are clear. Have a loose plan for the rest of the day.
Give your hotel name and a reachable phone number when you book. We'll confirm the pickup window or meeting pin closer to the day.
Notes are the place for dietary needs, ages, or a later pickup if you have an evening plan after the session.
