Spend a full day on the Red Sea aboard a VIP boat that combines a guided introductory dive with time to snorkel above the reef at two chosen sites. A certified instructor covers the basics before anyone goes underwater, so no previous diving experience is needed, and lunch is served on board between the two stops.
After pickup and a boat ride to the first site, a certified instructor fits your diving equipment and covers breathing with a regulator and basic hand signals before the introductory dive begins. The instructor stays close throughout, setting the pace to match how comfortable you feel underwater.
Lunch is served on board afterwards, with guests welcome to eat out on the balcony while the boat is anchored. The boat then moves to a second site for free time snorkelling above the reef before sailing back to Hurghada.
Hurghada sits on Egypt's Red Sea coast and is one of the country's main hubs for diving and boat trips, with warm, sheltered water and fringing reefs a short sail from the marina. Good visibility and a wide variety of coral make it a practical starting point for both first-time divers and confident swimmers.
Away from the water, Hurghada has a long seafront lined with cafes and shops, and the desert hills inland are visible from the boat on clear days. Easy logistics and healthy reef life make it a sensible base for a one-day introduction to diving without committing to a full course.
No previous diving or snorkelling experience is required, as the introductory dive is designed for complete beginners and supervised throughout by a certified instructor.
Guests should be reasonably confident in the water and able to swim, though the pace of the day is relaxed and nobody is pushed to do more than they feel ready for. Anyone who would rather stay above water can snorkel at both stops instead of diving.
