Sail from Hurghada to the Dolphin House lagoon, a sheltered stretch of the Red Sea known for its coral and the dolphins sometimes spotted nearby, on this full day boat trip. Guided snorkelling stops make up the core of the day, with a banana boat ride added for anyone who fancies something more active, and hotel pickup and drop-off are both included.
After pickup, the boat sails out to the Dolphin House lagoon, where you snorkel across more than one stop along the reef in sheltered, shallow water. The crew stay close by throughout, with life jackets available for anyone who wants extra support.
Later in the day there is a banana boat ride for guests who want to join in, while others are welcome to stay on board and relax. Plenty of time on deck is built in between activities before the boat heads back to Hurghada.
The Dolphin House lagoon sits a boat ride from Hurghada marina, sheltered enough to give calmer water than much of the open coast, with coral formations close enough to the surface to enjoy without diving.
Hurghada itself is one of Egypt's main Red Sea resort towns, with a long promenade of hotels, restaurants and dive shops backing onto the coast. The wider bay is home to a good number of boat based day trips, with the Dolphin House route particularly known for calmer conditions and a reasonable chance of spotting marine life.
No previous snorkelling experience is required, and the pace of the day is relaxed rather than physically demanding.
Guests should be reasonably comfortable in the water, though the crew are on hand throughout to help anyone who wants extra support or a life jacket.
