Could this be the day you ride desert tracks on a quad or buggy? Desert tracks, dune runs and a Bedouin-style tea stop break up the riding, with photo pauses along the wadis. The outing takes about 3 hours including collection, and a guide leads the session from briefing through to the finish. Hotel collection and return in the Hurghada area are included, so you are not sorting taxis or meeting points on the morning of the trip.
Helmets on and briefing done, you follow the guide in convoy across desert tracks and dry wadis. Stops for photos and Bedouin tea break up the quad riding, and the pace stays sensible on dune sections. Dust, sun and vibration are part of the experience, so closed shoes and sunglasses help on the trail. The lead guide sets convoy spacing on dusty stretches and keeps pace matched to the least experienced rider in the group.
Many routes weave in a short camel ride between riding legs, so you get two desert experiences in one outing. You return to the base for transfer back to your hotel after the last riding section. Closed shoes, sunglasses and sun cream help on dusty tracks where vibration and glare are constant.
Hurghada lines Egypt's central Red Sea coast, with resort hotels along a long strip between the airport and old town. Desert bases for quad, horse and balloon trips sit inland beyond the coastal road.
Resort pickup spans the familiar Hurghada coastal hotels, with return transfer after the session. Distances along the strip mean vans can arrive in a range rather than a single minute, so eat before you leave if you have an early start.
You do not need a background in this activity. You should be comfortable following a guide and happy with the physical side of the activity.
Bring sun protection and shoes with grip for desert or boat days. Say any medical conditions or dietary needs when you confirm your place.
Door-to-door collection keeps logistics off your plate from a Hurghada resort base. Activity kit and safety briefing happen on site, so you are not sorting hire gear in town.
Routes adjust to heat, wind and sand conditions rather than forcing a fixed loop in poor weather. That flexibility helps you get the safest, most enjoyable session available.
We'll collect you from your Hurghada hotel and take you to the start point. Be ready with the kit listed for this session and any voucher details. The crew talk through safety, timing and how the quad safari will run before you head out.
The core of the day is guided quad safari time in the Red Sea. Stay with your group, listen to the briefing and ask if you want a slower pace or extra help with kit. Listen to spacing advice and riding tips from your guide and stay with the group unless told otherwise.
Take a breather between active sections, drink water and check kit with your guide before continuing with the second part of the session. Your guide stays close throughout and can slow the pace if you want extra help with kit, a slower pace on the trail.
After the last section you transfer back to your hotel in Hurghada. The whole experience is about 3 hours door to door, so keep the rest of your schedule flexible. Gather your belongings, thank the crew and double-check you have towels, dry clothes and anything you left on the boat or at the base before you leave.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Hurghada area is part of this experience. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given.
Build the whole 3-hour shape into your day rather than planning something tight immediately afterwards. Traffic along resort roads can slow the van.
No previous experience is required for this quad safari. Your guide briefs you before you start and stays close while you try the activity.
Say if you are nervous or a new to riding so the crew can pace the session and offer flotation where it helps.
Light refreshments may be offered depending on the format. Carry water and a snack if you eat breakfast early.
Soft drinks beyond what is served may be extra. Bring cash if you want extras on the boat or at the base.
Practical kit is comfortable clothes for the activity, sun protection. Closed shoes help in the desert.
Bring a phone pouch or leave valuables at the hotel. Reef-safe sunscreen matters on long days in the sun. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
Activity equipment is provided for the session. Bring your own mask only if you prefer gear you already know.
Fit helmets, before you start so you are not adjusting them mid-session. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
This runs for groups from 1 to 15 people. Smaller groups mean more attention from your guide on the trail or in the dunes.
Private formats keep the whole vehicle to your party. Follow the guide's spacing on the trail.
About 3 hours including collection and the main activity time. Keep the whole window free rather than squeezing other plans around it.
A late appearance at reception or the meeting point shortens time on the activity because the session leaves with the group.
Families are welcome when children are comfortable with the activity format. Infant seats may be available on transfers where listed.
Say ages when you book so the crew can plan seating, kit sizes and pacing on the water or in the desert.
This activity needs workable conditions. If wind, sea state or sand storms rule it out, the crew may reschedule or switch sites.
You will be told as early as they can once morning conditions are clear. Have a loose plan for the rest of the day.
Give your hotel name and a reachable phone number when you book. We'll confirm the pickup window or meeting pin closer to the day.
Notes are the place for dietary needs, ages, or a later pickup if you have an evening plan after the session.
