Could this be the day you fish offshore with a private crew? You head offshore with rods, bait and a crew who know the local marks through the season. The outing takes about 8 hours including collection, and a guide leads the session from briefing through to the finish. A meal is built into the longer format, which gives you a proper break between the active sections. Hotel collection and return in the Hurghada area are included, so you are not sorting taxis or meeting points on the morning of the trip.
From the dock you head offshore with tackle ready on deck and the crew briefing how the day will run. The crew handle lines, nets and any fish you choose to keep within local rules, and you get time between drifts to rest in the shade. Species vary by season, and the skipper will explain what is running when you are out. Rods, bait and local knowledge are ready when you leave the marina, with the skipper positioning the boat over familiar marks.
A cooked lunch is often served on board between drifts, so you can eat without heading back to the hotel mid-day. Catch-and-release may apply for some species, and the crew will talk you through what you can keep before lines go in. You return to your hotel or meeting point after the last active section, with transfer time built into the overall length.
Hurghada lines Egypt's central Red Sea coast, with resort hotels along a long strip between the airport and old town. Boats leave from marinas a short van ride from reception, and reef sites sit offshore in clear water.
Resort pickup spans the familiar Hurghada coastal hotels, with return transfer after the session. Distances along the strip mean vans can arrive in a range rather than a single minute, so eat before you leave if you have an early start.
You do not need a background in this activity. You should be comfortable following a guide and happy with the physical side of the activity.
Bring sun protection and shoes with grip for desert or boat days. Say any medical conditions or dietary needs when you confirm your place.
Door-to-door collection keeps logistics off your plate from a Hurghada resort base. Local crews know the routes, reefs and marks they use week in, week out through the season.
Lunch on board or at a stop breaks up the hours on the water and keeps the group together. Say dietary needs when you book so the kitchen or crew can try to match them.
We'll collect you from your Hurghada hotel and take you to the start point. Be ready with the kit listed for this session and any voucher details. The crew talk through safety, timing and how the fishing will run before you head out.
The core of the day is guided fishing time in the Red Sea. Stay with your group, listen to the briefing and ask if you want a slower pace or extra help with kit. Listen to paddle commands, spacing advice or riding tips from your guide and stay with the group unless told otherwise.
A meal is served between active sections so you can drink water, eat and reset in the shade before the next leg of the day. Your guide stays close throughout and can slow the pace if you want extra help with kit, spacing in the water or a quieter route on the trail.
After the last section you transfer back to your hotel in Hurghada. The whole experience is about 8 hours door to door, so keep the rest of your schedule flexible. Gather your belongings, thank the crew and double-check you have towels, dry clothes and anything you left on the boat or at the base before you leave.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Hurghada area is part of this experience. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given.
Build the whole 8-hour shape into your day rather than planning something tight immediately afterwards. Traffic along resort roads can slow the van.
No previous experience is required for this fishing. Your guide briefs you before you start and stays close while you try the activity.
Say if you are nervous or a weak swimmer so the crew can pace the session and offer flotation where it helps.
A meal is served as part of the day. Say any dietary needs when you confirm your place so the kitchen can try to match them.
Soft drinks beyond what is served may be extra. Bring cash if you want extras on the boat or at the base.
Practical kit is swimwear or comfortable clothes for the activity, sun protection and a towel. Closed shoes help on boats and in the desert.
A dry bag keeps phones off wet decks. Reef-safe sunscreen matters on long days in the Hurghada sun. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
Activity equipment is provided for the session. Bring your own mask or riding boots only if you prefer gear you already know.
Fit helmets, life jackets or harnesses before you start so you are not adjusting them mid-session. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
This runs for groups from 1 to 15 people. Smaller groups mean more attention from your guide on the water or in the dunes.
Private formats keep the whole boat or vehicle to your party. Follow the guide's spacing in the water and on trails.
About 8 hours including collection and the main activity time. Keep the whole window free rather than squeezing other plans around it.
A late appearance at reception or the meeting point shortens time on the activity because the session leaves with the group.
Families are welcome when children are comfortable with the activity format. Infant seats may be available on transfers where listed.
Say ages when you book so the crew can plan seating, kit sizes and pacing on the water or in the desert.
This activity needs workable conditions. If wind, sea state or sand storms rule it out, the crew may reschedule or switch sites.
You will be told as early as they can once morning conditions are clear. Have a loose plan for the rest of the day.
Give your hotel name and a reachable phone number when you book. We'll confirm the pickup window or meeting pin closer to the day.
Notes are the place for dietary needs, ages, or a later pickup if you have an evening plan after the session.
