Stepping into scuba diving for the first time becomes straightforward on this guided day at sea, designed specifically for complete beginners. With instructors managing every stage, the focus stays on getting comfortable in the water while learning the basics in a controlled environment. Time is split between diving sessions and relaxed breaks onboard the boat.
Hotel pickup takes place early in the day, followed by a short transfer to the marina where the dive boat is waiting. After boarding, the crew introduces the equipment and runs through a clear safety briefing, explaining how the day will work and what you’ll do in the water. Once ready, the boat heads out to selected nearby dive sites known for their calm conditions and suitability for first-time divers.
Each dive is fully guided, with instructors staying close and helping you adjust to breathing and movement underwater at a steady pace. Between dives, there’s time to rest on deck, enjoy lunch, and take in the sea surroundings before heading to a second site. The day finishes with the return journey to port and transfer back to your hotel.
Set along the Red Sea coast in Hurghada, the departure point is a busy marina area that provides direct access to nearby coral reef systems. The dive sites are chosen based on sea conditions, offering sheltered waters that are suitable for training and introductory dives.
The surrounding coastline is known for clear visibility and relatively calm sea conditions, making it a popular region for learning scuba diving. All locations used on the day are selected to keep travel time short and maximise time in the water.
No prior diving experience is needed, as the session is built for complete beginners. Full instruction is provided before entering the water, covering all essential equipment use and underwater communication basics.
Comfort in the sea is important, along with the ability to follow instructions from your dive guide. Each participant is supported throughout the experience to ensure a steady and controlled introduction to diving.
Planning is structured around keeping the experience simple and well-paced, particularly for those trying scuba diving for the first time. Instructors focus on clear guidance and steady progression so you can build confidence step by step.
Safety remains central throughout the day, with controlled dive environments, full supervision, and carefully chosen locations. The overall approach is designed to create a calm introduction to diving while maintaining a smooth and organised experience from start to finish.
Yes, the entire experience is designed for people with no previous diving background. Everything is explained clearly before you enter the water so you understand what to expect.
Instructors stay with you at all times, guiding you through each step at a comfortable pace. The aim is to make the introduction as simple and controlled as possible.
Before leaving the marina, the dive team explains how the equipment works and what you will do underwater. This includes breathing techniques, signals, and basic safety instructions.
You’ll also be shown how to use your gear in a practical way so you feel familiar before entering the sea. The briefing is kept clear and easy to follow.
Depth is kept shallow and suitable for beginners, allowing you to adjust gradually to being underwater. Your instructor controls the dive at all times.
The focus is on comfort rather than depth, so you can enjoy the experience without feeling pressured. Conditions are selected specifically for introductory diving.
Strong swimming ability is not required, but you should feel comfortable in the water. Buoyancy equipment is used throughout to support you.
Your instructor will guide and assist you during the dive, helping you stay relaxed. Most movement is controlled by the equipment rather than swimming effort.
All scuba gear is included, such as mask, fins, regulator, and buoyancy control equipment. Everything is prepared for you before entering the water.
The crew helps with fitting and adjustments so the equipment is comfortable and secure. Snorkelling gear is also available for surface time if needed.
There are two separate diving sessions during the day, each with time allocated based on conditions and comfort. Between dives, you return to the boat to rest.
Breaks are built in so you don’t feel rushed and can recover comfortably between sessions. The schedule is flexible depending on the group.
