Begin your journey from a complete beginner to a professional PADI scuba diver with our comprehensive course. Transform your passion for diving into a rewarding career, travelling and working in exotic destinations around the world. Our ‘Gopro’ course will take you from your first dive all the way to becoming a PADI Divemaster, the first professional level in recreational diving.
The course comprises several stages, each designed to develop specific skills and competencies in diving:
The Open Water Diver stage lasts approximately 2-3 weeks and includes self-study, pool sessions, and 2 days in open water. Completion of this stage certifies you to dive up to 18m anywhere in the world.
The Advanced Open Water Diver stage takes 2 days and involves 5 adventure dives, including deep and navigation dives. Successful completion qualifies you to dive up to 30m.
The Emergency First Response (EFR) stage provides comprehensive first aid training, crucial for handling diving-related emergencies.
The Rescue Diver stage includes self-study followed by 2 full days of practical sessions at a lake. This stage equips you with the skills to manage and prevent diving emergencies.
Finally, the Divemaster stage requires you to have logged 40+ dives before starting and 60 dives to complete. This professional qualification allows you to assist instructors and lead certified divers. The timeframe is flexible, typically taking between 3 to 12 months.
Training is conducted at various pool locations in Central London, Surrey, Berkshire, South East London, Kent, North London, Hertfordshire, Brighton, and Oxfordshire.
Open water training is primarily held at Wraysbury (near Heathrow) and for deeper dives, at Chepstow.
Participants must be fit and healthy, able to swim 200 metres, and float for 10 minutes.
Before starting the Divemaster course, you will need to complete a thorough HSE medical and stamina tests.
Opting for our course means you benefit from experienced instructors, comprehensive training programmes, and multiple convenient training locations.
