Time on the water is split between searching for dolphins, exploring reef areas, and stopping at scenic coastal spots depending on conditions. With a private speedboat and crew, the route stays flexible so you can spend more time in the most active areas. The experience is relaxed, with everything set up for an easy few hours at sea.
Departure begins at Hurghada marina where your private speedboat is prepared and ready to go. Once onboard, the crew provides a short briefing along with life jackets, snorkelling equipment, and an outline of the planned route. The skipper then sets course based on sea conditions and recent dolphin activity in the area.
Most of the time is spent moving between open-water zones and reef stops, with the chance to spot dolphins in their natural environment along the way. If sightings occur, the boat may slow or reposition to allow a respectful viewing distance. Snorkelling stops are included at selected reef areas, and depending on timing and conditions, there may also be a short visit to nearby spots such as Orange Bay or Giftun Island before returning to shore.
This trip operates from Hurghada along the Red Sea coast, an area known for its clear waters and marine biodiversity. The marina provides direct access to offshore reefs and dolphin habitats used for wildlife-focused boat trips.
The surrounding waters include both open sea and protected reef zones, giving a mix of wildlife spotting and snorkelling opportunities. Routes are adjusted daily based on conditions to make the most of active areas while keeping the journey smooth.
No previous experience is needed for either snorkelling or boat travel, as full instructions are provided before departure. All equipment and safety gear are supplied and explained by the crew.
Participants should be comfortable being on the water and following simple onboard guidance. Snorkelling is optional, and flotation support is available if required.
Flexible routing allows the skipper to adjust the trip based on dolphin activity, giving you a better chance of spending time in the right areas. The private setup means the experience is not fixed to a strict schedule and can adapt during the trip.
Safety and responsible wildlife viewing are prioritised throughout, with experienced crew managing all movements at sea. The focus is on keeping the trip straightforward, well-paced, and centred around time on the water.
Dolphins are wild animals, so sightings cannot be guaranteed on every trip. The route is planned around known dolphin areas to improve the chances.
The skipper uses local knowledge and recent reports to choose the best locations on the day. Even without dolphins, reef snorkelling and sea views are still part of the experience.
Direct interaction with dolphins is not encouraged to protect their natural behaviour. The focus is on observing them from a respectful distance.
If dolphins are nearby, the boat may slow so you can view them from the water. The crew always follows responsible wildlife guidelines.
