Time: Pre-dawn pickup Day 1 (~5:30 AM) to return Day 2 after breakfast.
Activities: 1-hour sunrise balloon flight, post-flight toast & breakfast, afternoon desert transfer, sunset views, Moroccan dinner under the stars, and 1 night in a Berber-style camp.

Food Note: Lunch on Day 1 is not included (can be taken in Marrakech or en route).
Overnight in the Agafay stone desert follows a sunrise balloon flight, so you stay out of Marrakech instead of rushing back after breakfast. You'll spend around an hour in the air, then transfer to a Berber-style camp for the afternoon, a Moroccan dinner and a night under canvas. Day two starts with breakfast at camp before we return you to the city.
Day one starts with hotel or riad pickup around 5:30 to 6am for the launch site. After around an hour in the air, a champagne toast and breakfast come on the ground, then we drive out to Agafay for the rest of the day. You'll have time at camp to take in sunset over the stone hills, then dinner under the stars before the overnight stay.
Lunch on day one is not included, so you can eat in Marrakech or en route. The balloon remains weather dependent, and we will be in touch as early as we can if conditions are unsafe.
Flight Fit: Ability to stand comfortably in the balloon basket for ~1 hour continuously and bend knees for landing position.
Camp Living: Comfort with rustic/tent accommodation in the stone desert for one night.
Skill Level: Beginner-friendly (fully staffed camp and guided flight; no ballooning or camping experience required).
Weather Policy: Balloon flight is weather-dependent; if canceled due to high winds, desert camp transfers and night stay can typically still proceed.
Pickup, timing and the return from camp are run by our Marrakech-based team, using local knowledge of the launch site and the Agafay road. We'll collect you from your hotel or riad, move you between the field and the camp, and drop you back the following day. You do not piece those transfers together yourself.
This outing is the balloon morning plus a proper desert night: champagne and breakfast after landing, a Berber-style camp, dinner and a second breakfast, all in one overnight rather than two separate excursions.
Your driver collects you from your Marrakech hotel or riad between 4:30am and 5:30am for the first sunrise flight. The launch site sits roughly 20 to 30 minutes outside the city, and the team meets you with welcome drinks before a safety briefing with the pilot.
Warm layers matter for this hour. Many riads sit on pedestrian lanes, so the driver may park nearby and meet you on foot.
After inflation you board the basket and fly for around an hour as the sun comes up over fields, villages and, on clear mornings, the Atlas. The flight is weather dependent, and the team will be in touch as early as they can if wind or visibility is unsafe.
On landing you return to base for an open buffet breakfast and a flight certificate before the desert half of the day begins.
After breakfast we transfer you out to a Berber-style camp in the Agafay stone desert. Lunch on day one is not included, so you can eat in Marrakech or en route before settling in for the afternoon and sunset over the rocky hills.
Dinner is served at camp, then you stay overnight under canvas. The camp is staffed and set up for you, so no camping experience is required.
Day two starts with breakfast at camp before the drive back to Marrakech. Drop-off is at the nearest accessible point to your hotel or riad in the afternoon.
Pack a small overnight bag plus layers for the pre-dawn flight and the cooler desert evening. Share ages and any mobility notes when you enquire.
