Families get a nine-day route built around hands-on stops as well as Morocco's history. You'll make a drum in Fez with a master artisan, cook a tagine together, and look for wild Barbary macaques in the cedar forests of Ifrane. Younger travellers stay involved without the days becoming a city checklist.
After a family-friendly introduction to the Hassan II Mosque, you'll continue to Rabat's royal and historic sites, then Meknes and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Children can imagine daily life 2,000 years ago among the mosaics and columns. A stop in Ifrane National Park brings the chance to spot wild Barbary macaques in the cedar forests, though sightings cannot be guaranteed.
In Fez, a drum-making workshop with a master artisan gives the whole family a souvenir and a look at traditional craft, alongside exploring the medina's narrow lanes. A family cooking class teaches you to bake traditional Moroccan bread and prepare a tagine. You'll finish in Marrakech with the fire-eaters and street performers of Jemaa el-Fna square, after a cultural stop with a local Berber family for mint tea on the journey south.
We'll look after the logistics from our Marrakech base, using local knowledge to keep family days practical. An English-speaking resident tour manager and local guides travel with you throughout the trip. We arrange private transport, family-friendly stays, daily breakfast and dinner, the workshops, and entrance fees, from airport reception in Casablanca to your final drop-off in Marrakech.
