You'll leave Marrakech behind for the green foothills of the High Atlas, where the Ourika Valley opens into farmland, Berber villages, and the Setti Fatma waterfalls. The day mixes an easy scenic drive with a short riverside hike, plus a stop at a women-led argan oil cooperative.
We'll collect you from your hotel or riad and follow the road into the valley, usually 45 minutes to an hour, past olive groves and traditional homes. The first stop is a women-led argan oil cooperative, where you can watch the traditional extraction process and pick up products made on site.
From there, the route continues to Setti Fatma, a village at the base of the High Atlas known for its waterfalls, sometimes called the Seven Pools. A short hike along the river and through citrus groves brings you to the falls, with time for photos, a dip in the cool water in season, or mint tea at a riverside café. If your visit falls on a Monday, there is also a chance to stop at the local Berber souk before we drive you back to Marrakech.
