Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech Airport - Imlil (1740M)
Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, you'll be driven to Imlil, passing through Berber towns and the scenic Moulay Brahim Gorge. A stop at a Berber Argan cooperative offers a chance to learn about traditional Argan oil production. The day concludes with a short hike to the village of Around for an overnight stay in a guest house.
Day 2: Acclimatisation Day - Imlil to Tizi Mezzik (2490M)
After breakfast, begin your hike towards Tizi Mezzik Pass (2490M), enjoying views of the surrounding mountains. Lunch will be served under juniper trees, with an optional summit hike to 2750M for those seeking an extra challenge. You will then return to the guest house for the evening.
Day 3: Imlil (1800M) - Chamharouch - Toubkal Refuge (3207M)
Start the day with a trek through Aroumd village, stopping at Chamharouch for a riverside lunch prepared by our cook. Continue your journey up to the Toubkal Refuge, where you'll spend the night. All meals are freshly prepared, ensuring quality and nutrition.
Day 4: Toubkal Refuge - Toubkal Summit (4167M) - Return to Refuge
Begin the ascent to Toubkal Summit early in the morning. Once at the peak, you'll have time to soak in the panoramic views before descending back to the refuge. If conditions allow, a different trail (Ikhibi) may be taken on the return journey. You'll overnight at the refuge.
Day 5: Toubkal Refuge - Imlil - Marrakech
Descend to the village of Aroumd, where you'll enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the oldest homes in the Imlil valley or by the river. After lunch, return to Marrakech for the conclusion of your adventure.
