Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains (Imlil Valley)
The adventure kicks off with a pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech, followed by a scenic drive to the Imlil valley, situated at 1,700 metres above sea level. Upon arrival, you will meet our expert team and commence your trek towards the Tizi Mezzik pass. As you ascend, you'll enjoy lunch surrounded by panoramic mountain views that are simply breathtaking. After lunch, continue your trek to Azib Tamsoult, where you will settle in for the night.
Day 2: Azib Tamsoult - Toubkal Refuge
Following a hearty breakfast, the trek continues as you hike to one of the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains. This beautiful sight is a perfect start to your day. The journey leads you to Tizi Agelzim, perched at 3,600 metres, offering spectacular vistas. A packed lunch will be enjoyed along the trail before you descend to the Toubkal refuge at 3,207 metres, where you will spend the night.
Day 3: Toubkal Summit Ascent - Aroumd Village
Prepare for an early start as you make your way to the summit of Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, standing at 4,167 metres. The morning light and stunning landscapes offer fantastic photo opportunities. After taking in the views from the summit, return to the refuge for lunch. Following your meal, descend to Aroumd village, located at 2,000 metres, for an overnight stay. In the evening, unwind with a traditional Berber Hammam, an experience that provides relaxation and rejuvenation.
Day 4: Aroumd Village - Marrakech
On your final day, you’ll hike through the valley, stopping to visit several charming Berber villages along the way. Enjoy lunch in the shade of walnut trees, creating a serene atmosphere to savour your meal. After lunch, transfer back to Marrakech, concluding your incredible adventure through the Atlas Mountains.
