Eight guests max and a fast crossing to Abo Munkar Island make this a compact four-hour speedboat outing from Hurghada. Hotel collection is included, and snorkel time at the island reef is the core of the water session. The boat stays smaller than a standard day cruiser, with spray on the hop and a quicker run than a large packed vessel.
Hull cuts fast through chop on the crossing from Hurghada toward Abo Munkar, spray on faces and a small-boat feel with no more than eight guests aboard. The reef session at the island is the core of the water time, with mask and fins in clear shallows around sand and coral. Crew stay close for the first dip if you are new to snorkelling.
Island sand shows pale against blue water when you step off for beach time between swims, simple facilities and other small boats often nearby at this popular stop. The four-hour window keeps things brisk: quick run out, snorkel, beach pause, then the hop back to Hurghada. Compact, salty and focused on the island reef rather than a long cruise.
Abo Munkar sits off Hurghada as a sand-and-reef stop used by small boats rather than a town beach. The island stop is a beach and snorkel, with simple facilities and a reef that can be too shallow for fins in places. There may be other boats at the same sandbar even on a small-group run, because Abo Munkar is a known Hurghada stop.
Collection covers the usual Hurghada resort belt. Distances along the strip mean pickup windows can stretch, so be ready early and wear clothes that can get wet. Once you are back on the coast, hotel beaches and the Red Sea sit close to most properties, which is why many guests keep the rest of the day for a quieter afternoon by the water after the four-hour window.
No previous snorkeling is required. Being happy on a small fast boat and in the sea beside it is what matters. Say if you are a weak swimmer so you can use a life jacket and stay close to the crew at the island. A short brief and kit come before you go in, and the crew can stay close on the first dip if you have never used a mask.
Swimwear under a cover-up works well, along with a towel and sun protection. Eat before pickup. Keep the rest of the morning free so the four-hour window is not squeezed around other plans. Mention ages when you confirm your place; a four-hour outing on a small boat is a long sit for very young children even if they stay dry. Infants are not a fit for the speedboat run.
Hotel collection and a cap of eight guests keep the four hours more compact than a packed day boat. The crew run the snorkel at Abo Munkar and stay with the group on the water rather than leaving you to find the reef alone. Snorkel kit is included, and the named activity in the water is the island reef session.
The speedboat hop is quicker than a large day cruiser, which leaves more of the four hours for time at the island. Extra water sports are only what the crew actually have running that morning, so snorkel time remains the reliable core. If the run is too rough, the crew may delay or change the plan once morning conditions are clear.
We'll collect you from your Hurghada hotel and takes you to the boat. Be ready in the pickup window with swim kit and a towel. The speedboat then runs out toward Abo Munkar, so expect spray and a quicker hop than a large day cruiser.
At Abo Munkar you snorkel around the island reef with kit from the boat. Stay with the crew, watch your fins on shallow coral, and use a life jacket if you want extra flotation. Other water sports may be offered that morning; ask on the boat what is actually running.
Time on the sand is a beach stop, not a hotel stay. Facilities are simple. Keep the boat in sight, drink water, and be ready when the crew call you back for the run to Hurghada. The whole outing is about four hours door to door.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Hurghada area is part of this outing. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given because traffic along the strip can slow the van.
The four hours on the clock include the speedboat run to Abo Munkar, time at the island and the return. Arriving late at reception cuts into time on the water.
Semi-private here means a small group, with a maximum of eight people on this product, rather than a large day boat packed with dozens of guests. You still share the boat with other guests unless your party fills the seats.
It is not a fully private charter. If you want a boat just for your group, look at the eight-hour private boat day from Hurghada instead of this outing.
The named activity in the water is snorkelling at the island, with kit included. Extra water sports may be running that morning, so treat them as what the crew actually have available, not a fixed menu.
Ask on the boat what is available before you assume jet skis, parasailing or similar. Snorkel time at Abo Munkar is the reliable core of the four hours.
No previous snorkelling is required. You get a short brief and kit before you go in. Say if you have never used a mask so the crew can stay close on the first dip.
You should be happy in the sea beside a small boat. Life jackets are the sensible choice if you are not a confident swimmer. Stay where you can see the boat when you surface.
Lunch is not included on this four-hour outing. Eat before you leave the hotel, and do not rely on a sit-down meal at the island. Carry water and a small snack if you want something between pickup and return.
The eight-hour private boat day from Hurghada is the listing that names lunch as included. Choose this trip if you want the shorter island run.
Share ages when you confirm your place. The crew look at swimming ability and how settled a child is on a fast boat before they agree a snorkel. Infants are not a fit for the speedboat run.
A four-hour outing on a small boat is a long sit for very young children even if they stay dry.
Swimwear under a cover-up, a towel and dry clothes for the ride back are the practical kit. The speedboat throws spray, so expect to get damp even before you snorkel.
Secure sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat that will not blow off. A dry bag keeps phones off wet seats. Soft shoes that can get wet help on the island and the boat ladder.
The island stop is a beach and snorkel, not a hotel stay. Facilities are simple. There may be other boats at the same sandbar, even on a semi-private run, because Abo Munkar is a known Hurghada stop.
Follow the crew on where you can snorkel and where the reef is too shallow for fins. Do not wander out of sight of the boat.
The day needs a workable sea. A small speedboat feels chop more than a large day boat. If the run is too rough, the crew may delay or change the plan. You will be told as early as they can once morning conditions are clear.
Have a loose plan for the rest of the day so a weather hold does not wreck the whole morning. Four hours still needs a clear window on the water.
