Evening in the desert means four-seat buggies, a camel stretch, dinner at a village stop and a live show, all from one Hurghada hotel pickup. No licence is required if you follow the guide. One adult usually drives while the rest of the family ride in the same car.
Your family shares one four-seat buggy as dusk settles over the dunes, with one adult driving and everyone else riding together through tracked sand inland of Hurghada. A short briefing covers throttle and spacing before the convoy rolls out, and children stay as passengers unless the crew say otherwise.
Warm dishes and live music fill the village tents after a camel walk through the same desert ground. Handlers stay beside each animal at the kneeling mount, and the evening closes with a dance performance before the return to the hotel strip.
Open sand sits a short drive inland from the Hurghada hotel belt, with low hills and tracked dunes rather than a remote overnight camp. The loop uses that near-town desert, so you are never far from the coast road even while the cars are on the sand. Village tents for dinner and the show sit on the same stretch of desert, not in a separate town.
Collection covers the usual Hurghada resort belt. Distances along the strip mean pickup windows can stretch, so be ready early at reception and share the hotel name so the driver can find the right gate. After the return you are back on the coast at night, so keep a plan for a late arrival at the hotel rather than a second evening booking.
No buggy or camel qualification is required. You should be happy sharing a four-seat car on soft sand and then sitting on a camel, which stands and kneels in a rolling motion. Wear long trousers and closed shoes. Tell the team if you have never driven a buggy, so they can keep you on a slower line or as a passenger.
Bring sun protection, water, a scarf for dust and a warmer layer for the evening. Keep the evening free so the five-hour window is not squeezed around other plans. Mention dietary needs when you confirm your place. Infant seats are available on the hotel transfer, but who sits where in the buggy is still a crew decision on the day.
Hotel collection and a five-hour mix of four-seat buggy, camel, dinner and a show keep the outing in one run from a Hurghada hotel. A guide stays with the group from the cars to the tents. The four-seat format is the point of this product, so a family can share one car rather than splitting across two-seat machines.
Dinner and the evening performance are part of this product, not extras you add later. You follow one team and return to the same hotel strip. If the sand is blowing hard or the heat is extreme, the crew may shift the start rather than sending you out on a poor loop.
We'll collect you from your Hurghada hotel and runs inland to the desert garage. Be ready in the pickup window with closed shoes, a scarf and a layer for the evening. The transfer sits inside the five hours, so Arriving late at reception cuts into time on the sand.
After a short briefing you follow the guide in a four-seat buggy across tracked sand. One adult usually drives while the rest of the family ride. Keep your spacing, watch the car in front, and ease off the throttle on soft patches.
You switch to camels for a slower walk, then continue to the village tents. Handlers stay beside the animals as they stand and kneel. Tea is usually waiting when you arrive, before dinner is served.
Dinner is served at the tents, then a live music and dance show. Stay with the group until the crew call the return van. After the performance you transfer back to your Hurghada hotel, still inside the five-hour window.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Hurghada area is part of this safari. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the pickup window because traffic along the strip can slow the van.
The five hours include transfer, the buggy loop, the camel stretch, dinner and the show. Arriving late at reception cuts into time on the sand because the group leaves together.
No previous buggy time is required. You get a short briefing on throttle, brakes and spacing before the group rolls out, and the guide sets a pace first-timers can follow on tracked sand.
The cars are four-seaters, so one adult usually drives while the rest of the family ride. Say at the base if you would rather not drive so the crew can pair you as a passenger.
After the buggy loop you switch to camels for a slower stretch, then continue to the village tents. Dinner is served there in the evening, and a live music and dance show follows.
Treat the village stop as the evening part of the same outing, not a separate restaurant booking. Stay with the group so you do not miss the return transfer.
A Bedouin-style dinner is included at the village in the evening. Mention dietary needs when you confirm your place so the kitchen can try to match them, including for children. Tea is usually part of the stop as well.
Do not rely on extra courses beyond what is served. Soft drinks and extras are available to buy separately. Eat a light snack before pickup if you leave the hotel hungry.
Closed shoes, long sleeves or a cover-up, and a scarf for dust make the buggy section more comfortable. Shorts and flip-flops leave skin open to sun and sand thrown up by the tyres.
Bring a warmer layer for the evening at the tents, because desert air cools after sunset. Sunglasses with a strap and sunscreen matter on the cars and the camel, including for children in the open car.
Yes. Infant seats are available on the hotel transfer. Who sits where in the four-seat buggy is still a crew decision on the day, based on height, reach and how settled a child is in a moving car.
The camel section and the dinner stop are usually easier for younger guests than the buggy drive. Children sit as passengers unless the crew say otherwise.
Tracked sand throws dust, especially if you sit behind another car. A scarf over the nose and mouth and glasses with a strap help. Helmets are used when the crew issue them at the base.
Rinse faces and kit when you are back at the hotel. Contact-lens wearers often prefer glasses on this outing because grit in the air is normal on the loop.
Five hours covers collection, the buggy loop, the camel stretch, dinner, the show and the drive back. Arriving late at reception cuts into time on the sand because the group leaves together.
Keep the evening free so you are not rushing back for another plan immediately after the return. The show sits at the end of the village stop.
The desert loop needs usable heat and wind. If the sand is blowing hard or the heat is extreme, the crew may shift the start or hold the outing. You will be told as early as they can.
Have a loose plan for the rest of the evening so a hold does not wreck the whole night. Five hours still needs a clear window on the dunes and at the tents.
Yes. A live music and dance show at the village tents is part of this product, after dinner. It is a short evening performance, not a ticketed concert with a printed programme.
Stay with the group until the crew call the return. Leaving early for the hotel on your own is not part of the included transfer plan.
