ATVs, buggies and a night under the desert sky share one five-hour Hurghada family outing, with dinner and a live performance at the tents. We collect you from your hotel, and no licence is required if you follow the guide. Who drives and who rides as a passenger is a crew decision on the day.
Headlights and dust trails mark the ATV and buggy convoy as it crosses tracked dunes inland of Hurghada after dark. A short briefing at the garage covers throttle and spacing before the group rolls out, with children riding as passengers unless the crew say otherwise.
Stars appear overhead as dinner is served at the desert tents and a live performance closes the evening. The air cools quickly once the vehicles stop, so a warmer layer is worth having for the tent stop before the return to the hotel strip.
Open sand sits a short drive inland from the Hurghada hotel belt, with low hills and tracked dunes rather than a remote overnight camp. The loop uses that near-town desert, so you are never far from the coast road even while the vehicles are on the sand. Tents for dinner and the show sit on the same stretch of desert, not in a separate town.
Collection covers the usual Hurghada resort belt. Distances along the strip mean pickup windows can stretch, so be ready early at reception and share the hotel name so the driver can find the right gate. After the return you are back on the coast at night, so keep a plan for a late arrival at the hotel rather than a second evening booking.
No ATV or buggy qualification is required. You should be happy holding a quad or sharing a buggy on soft sand. Wear long trousers and closed shoes. Tell the team if you have never driven, so they can keep you on a slower line or as a passenger.
Bring sun protection, water, a scarf for dust and a warmer layer for the evening. Keep the evening free so the five-hour window is not squeezed around other plans. Mention dietary needs when you confirm your place. Infant seats are available on the hotel transfer, but who sits where on the vehicles is still a crew decision on the day.
Hotel collection and a five-hour mix of ATV, buggy, dinner and a night show keep the outing in one run from a Hurghada hotel. A guide stays with the group from the garage to the tents. Both vehicle types sit in this product, so the crew can match a family to bikes and cars on the day.
Dinner and the evening performance are part of this product, not extras you add later. You follow one team and return to the same hotel strip. If the sand is blowing hard or the heat is extreme, the crew may shift the start rather than sending you out on a poor loop.
We'll collect you from your Hurghada hotel and runs inland to the desert garage. Be ready in the pickup window with closed shoes, a scarf and a layer for the evening. The transfer sits inside the five hours, so Arriving late at reception cuts into time on the sand.
After a short briefing you follow the guide on ATVs and in buggies across tracked sand. Keep your spacing, watch the vehicle in front, and ease off the throttle on soft patches. Who drives and who rides as a passenger is set at the garage.
Dinner is served at the tents, then a live night performance. Stay with the group until the crew call the return van. After the show you transfer back to your Hurghada hotel, still inside the five-hour window.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Hurghada area is part of this safari. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the pickup window because traffic along the strip can slow the van.
The five hours include transfer, time on ATVs and buggies, dinner and the night stop. Arriving late at reception cuts into time on the sand because the group leaves together.
No previous ATV or buggy time is required. You get a short briefing on throttle, brakes and spacing before the group rolls out, and the guide sets a pace first-timers can follow on tracked sand.
Who drives and who rides as a passenger is a crew decision on the day. Say at the base if you would rather not drive so they can pair you in a buggy or as a passenger on a two-up bike.
After the desert vehicles you continue to a village night stop for dinner and a live performance. Treat that as the evening part of the same outing, not a separate restaurant booking.
Stay with the group so you do not miss the return transfer. The show is a short evening performance, not a ticketed concert with a printed programme.
A Bedouin-style dinner is included at the night stop. Mention dietary needs when you confirm your place so the kitchen can try to match them, including for children.
Do not rely on extra courses beyond what is served. Soft drinks and extras are available to buy separately. Eat a light snack before pickup if you leave the hotel hungry.
Closed shoes, long sleeves or a cover-up, and a scarf for dust make the vehicle section more comfortable. Shorts and flip-flops leave skin open to sun and sand thrown up by the tyres.
Bring a warmer layer for the evening at the tents, because desert air cools after sunset. Sunglasses with a strap and sunscreen matter on both the bikes and the buggies.
Yes. Infant seats are available on the hotel transfer. Who sits where on the ATVs and buggies is still a crew decision on the day, based on height, reach and how settled a child is in a moving vehicle.
The dinner stop is usually easier for younger guests than the vehicle section. Children sit as passengers unless the crew say otherwise.
Tracked sand throws dust, especially if you sit behind another bike or car. A scarf over the nose and mouth and glasses with a strap help. Helmets are used when the crew issue them at the base.
Rinse faces and kit when you are back at the hotel. Contact-lens wearers often prefer glasses on this outing because grit in the air is normal on the loop.
Five hours covers collection, time on ATVs and buggies, dinner, the night show and the drive back. Arriving late at reception cuts into time on the sand because the group leaves together.
Keep the evening free so you are not rushing back for another plan immediately after the return. How the vehicle time is split between ATV and buggy is a crew decision on the day.
The desert loop needs usable heat and wind. If the sand is blowing hard or the heat is extreme, the crew may shift the start or hold the outing. You will be told as early as they can.
Have a loose plan for the rest of the evening so a hold does not wreck the whole night. Five hours still needs a clear window on the dunes and at the tents.
Yes. A live performance at the night stop is part of this product, after dinner. It is a short evening show, not a ticketed concert with a printed programme.
Stay with the group until the crew call the return. Leaving early for the hotel on your own is not part of the included transfer plan.
