Spend a full day on the Red Sea with a relaxed Giftun Island trip that combines two guided snorkelling stops, beach time at Orange Bay, and lunch onboard. Hotel pickup in Hurghada is included, so you can enjoy the reefs and island scenery without arranging your own transport to the marina.
Your day flows from hotel pickup in Hurghada to the marina, where you board the day boat and meet the crew. You receive a safety briefing covering life jackets, snorkelling stops, and the cruise timings. Then you head across calm Red Sea waters to the first snorkeling site, chosen for shallow reef access and clear visibility. The crew assists with equipment and guides you into the water at a comfortable pace for beginners and families.
After the morning snorkeling stop, the boat continues toward Orange Bay on Giftun Island. You enjoy free time on the sandy beach, with space to swim in calm shallows, relax, and take photos at your own pace. Lunch is served onboard to recharge before the afternoon. Later, the tour includes a second snorkelling stop at another reef location, before returning to the marina and transferring you back to your Hurghada accommodation.
Hurghada is a practical base on Egypt's Red Sea coast for boat trips to Giftun Island National Park. Orange Bay is a popular stop with clear shallows and sandy beaches, and it suits relaxed swimming and photography.
Nearby reefs support colourful fish and coral that beginner-friendly snorkelling can enjoy. With two guided snorkeling sessions plus beach time, you get a well-rounded island day in one trip from a connected resort base.
This trip is suitable for beginners and families. Basic swimming confidence is recommended for entering the water during the guided stops, and crew members brief you before each session.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult on board and during the snorkelling activities. If you are unsure about readiness for the water, message the team after booking so they can advise on the best approach.
Professional crew, included snorkelling kit, and structured hotel transfers make this a simple way to see Giftun Island in one day. You get a safety briefing and support throughout both water stops.
Two snorkelling stops give you more time in the water than a single-site trip, and Orange Bay beach time keeps the day relaxed. Lunch onboard and the scheduled cruise timings help the whole experience feel well organised.
Hotel pickup and drop-off in Hurghada are included for accommodations within the operator pickup area. Be ready at reception at the confirmed time with your booking details for the driver.
After collection you will be transferred to the marina to board the day boat. Return transfers back to your hotel are provided at the end of the cruise.
Swimwear, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, cash for personal island purchases, and a waterproof phone case. Comfortable clothes for transfers are recommended.
No previous snorkelling experience is needed for this trip. The first reef stop uses shallow water with calm conditions, and crew members are on hand to help guests who are new to using mask and snorkel.
Basic swimming confidence is helpful, but you can float with a life jacket and stay close to the boat if you prefer. Guides brief everyone before entering the water and keep an eye on the group throughout each stop.
Hotel pickup and drop-off in Hurghada are included on this experience when your accommodation is within the operator pickup zone. You will be collected at an agreed time and transferred to the marina to board the boat.
Exact pickup times are confirmed after booking. Please be ready in your hotel reception at the stated time and have your booking reference available for the driver.
The general minimum age for activities with this operator is four years old. Younger children may travel on the boat but should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Any activity-specific age or safety restrictions shown at checkout apply to your chosen option. Contact the team before booking if you are unsure.
Bring swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a waterproof phone case if you want photos on the boat or beach. Cash is useful for personal island purchases on the island.
Snorkelling equipment is provided for the guided stops. Wear comfortable clothing for the transfer and something warm for the return cruise if you cool down after swimming.

Personal expenses on the island, optional extras not listed in your ticket, and travel insurance are not included. Check your booking summary for the exact inclusions for your date and option.
The full day typically lasts around seven hours from hotel pickup to return drop-off. Timing can vary slightly with traffic, sea conditions, and how long the group spends at Orange Bay.
Your ticket is for a scheduled departure with set snorkelling stops and beach time built into the day. Arrive on time for pickup so the boat can leave the marina as planned.
Group sizes vary by departure but this product is set up for small to medium groups on a shared boat. Maximum capacity for the listed option is nine guests, which keeps the day manageable and sociable.
Private charter options may be available through other products if you want a boat exclusively for your party. Ask before booking if you are travelling as a large group.
Red Sea boat trips are rarely affected by weather, but conditions can change. If wind or visibility makes conditions unsuitable, the operator may adjust snorkelling sites or timings to keep the trip safe and comfortable.
You will be told of any change as early as possible. If a trip cannot run as planned, the team will arrange an alternative date or another option available through the operator.
Yes. Snorkelling equipment is provided for the guided stops, and the crew can help you fit your mask and snorkel.
Before each water session, you will receive a quick briefing on how to enter safely and how to stay close to the boat. Life jackets are also available for extra confidence.
After you book, you may be asked for your hotel name, room number, pickup point, WhatsApp number, participant ages, or other details needed to run the trip smoothly. This helps the driver find you and prepares the crew for your group.
Watch for messages after booking and reply promptly so pickup can be arranged. If anything is unclear, message the team and they will confirm the next steps.
