Immerse yourself in a two-day wild camping experience along the amazing coastline of South Devon. This adventure is perfect for both beginners and seasoned sea kayakers, offering a unique opportunity to explore secluded beaches, observe diverse wildlife, and enjoy the peacefulness of camping under the stars. With all equipment provided and guided by our experienced team, you can relax and focus on making unforgettable memories.
Day 1 - Begin your journey by loading your kayak at our waterside base in Dartmouth. Spend the day paddling along the beautiful coastline, discovering hidden coves, and enjoying activities such as fishing, swimming, and picnicking on deserted beaches. As evening approaches, set up camp on a secluded beach where you can watch the sunset, enjoy a BBQ dinner (enhanced by any fish you've caught), and relax by a driftwood fire under the starlit sky.
Day 2 - Start your day with an invigorating swim followed by a hearty breakfast. Continue exploring the coast, paddling through secret passages, and possibly encountering wildlife like seals. There’s no rush, and you can take your time enjoying the scenery before heading back to Dartmouth in the afternoon.
This adventure takes place in South Devon, one of the world's premier sea kayaking destinations. Based in Dartmouth, you'll explore the gorgeous coastline, known for its dramatic cliffs, hidden beaches, and abundant wildlife.
Set up camp on a remote, pristine beach with all necessary camping gear provided, including tents and sleeping bags. Enjoy a comfortable night under the stars, with the option to sleep outside if weather permits. Facilities include a driftwood campfire for evening relaxation and a hearty breakfast to start your day.
Participants should be at least 12 years old, possess moderate fitness, and have a love for outdoor activities. No prior kayaking experience is needed as our guides will provide all necessary training and support.

If you have your own gear, you’re welcome to bring it, but it's not required.

Our camping gear includes high-quality tents and sleeping mats to ensure a comfortable night's sleep under the stars.
Yes, this trip is suitable for children aged 12 and above.
We provide large double kayaks for added stability and comfort, making it easier for youngsters or those who are less confident on the water.
Bring personal clothing suitable for kayaking and camping, such as a waterproof jacket, quick-drying clothes, and a warm change of clothes for the evening.
Also, pack a pair of shoes or sandals that can get wet, toiletries, and a bottle of your favourite wine or beer for the campfire. All other technical and camping equipment is provided by us.

We had a great time. The instructor made us feel constantly reassured that we were in good hands. He was also really knowledgeable about the area and able to introduce us to great opportunities to explore various caves and coves during our training.
