Venture on a transformative sea kayaking journey with our improvers course, where you'll gain the knowledge and skills to venture out alone in calm weather conditions.
Led by experienced guides, you'll delve into practical sessions focusing on edging, technical skills, coastal navigation, and trip planning.
Prepare for hands-on training in capsize and rescue techniques, as well as an exploration of tidal movement around a headland. With a focus on equipping you with essential skills and awareness, this course prepares you for independent adventures in calm weather conditions, neap tides, and gentle winds (1 - 6 mph).
Courses are conducted at Oddicombe Beach in Babbacombe, offering picturesque surroundings ideal for sea kayaking adventures.
Participants should have prior sea kayaking experience and feel comfortable with multiple trips. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or affiliated with a paddling club, this course is designed to enhance your existing skills and take your sea kayaking abilities to the next level.

The course is designed for adults over the age of 18 who are eager to enhance their sea kayaking skills and knowledge.
Our experienced guides are well-versed in adapting to changing weather conditions. We provide necessary technical equipment and offer guidance on outfitting for different weather scenarios to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
We maintain small group sizes to ensure personalised instruction and individual attention.
Our maximum booking size is 6 people, however, you can contact the Adventuro team via the online chat to discuss larger group sizes.
