Situated 12 miles off the North Devon coast, Lundy Island is a pristine sanctuary renowned for its rich wildlife and natural beauty. Owned by the National Trust and managed by the Landmark Trust, it offers a unique opportunity to discover its secluded shores and abundant marine life from the vantage point of a sea kayak.
Embark on a journey exploring Lundy Island's rugged coastline and diverse marine life. Your adventure begins with a scenic ferry ride from Ilfracombe, departing at 10:00 AM. Upon arrival, settle into your chosen accommodation or pitch camp before venturing on an afternoon paddle along the island's eastern shore. Evenings are spent savouring local cuisine at the characterful Tavern.
Throughout the trip, you'll enjoy a mix of activities tailored to showcase Lundy's natural wonders. This includes circumnavigating the island by kayak, exploring its secluded coves, and observing wildlife such as seals and seabirds up close. Guided walking tours provide insights into the island's history and ecology, complemented by leisurely paddles to scenic spots ideal for snorkelling and wildlife watching.
