What do I need to bring with me?

A towel and your swimming gear Completed paperwork (sent to you before the session) Your certification card or logbook

Who should take this course?

This course is for certified divers who haven’t dived in a while and want to refresh their skills before a trip or returning to the water.

How long can I go without diving before needing a Scuba Review?

If you haven’t dived in 12 months or more, we recommend a Scuba Review to rebuild confidence and refresh key safety procedures.

What is the difference between Scuba Review and PADI ReActivate?

The Scuba Review is a practical refresher in the pool, while PADI ReActivate includes an online theory review and an updated certification card.

The session is held at our Chertsey dive centre in South London, featuring a purpose-built, heated 32°C scuba pool.

What skills will I review?

You’ll refresh essential diving skills, including buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, controlled ascents, air depletion drills, and more.

How long does the session last?

The pool-based refresher typically lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on individual needs and skill levels.

Do I need to take an exam?

No, the Scuba Review is a practical refresher with no exam. However, if you opt for PADI ReActivate, there is a short online knowledge review.

Will I receive a certification upon completion?

If you choose PADI ReActivate, you’ll receive a new certification card. Otherwise, the Scuba Review serves as a non-certification refresher.
