Deep Diver Course on La Maddalena Island

What to Expect

During the two-day course, you will complete four dives, each focusing on different aspects of deep diving. You will begin with a thorough briefing on safety measures, deep diving principles, and how to manage your buoyancy at greater depths. The first few dives will focus on getting comfortable with the depth, learning to adjust your equipment, and mastering the techniques required for safe deep diving.

As you progress, you will visit underwater wrecks and observe the marine life at depth, guided by expert instructors. They will ensure that you’re diving safely while providing insightful information about the underwater environment. Each dive will progressively build your skills, ensuring you feel more confident as you dive deeper.

Location

Our diving centre is located at Punta Tegge, on the beautiful island of La Maddalena, part of a protected national park.

This location is ideal for diving, offering access to pristine waters, marine life, and wrecks. The area is easily accessible, with close proximity to the beach, where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings between dives.

Prerequisites

To join this course, participants must be at least 15 years old and hold a PADI Junior Open Water or Open Water Diver certification (or an equivalent certification from another recognised diving organisation).

If the participant is a minor, a parental or guardian consent form is required. You must also provide a medical certificate confirming your fitness for non-competitive diving activities.
