Start your underwater journey with this introductory course, designed for those new to diving. Over five days, you'll learn essential skills and techniques, earning an internationally recognised certification that enables you to dive with a partner up to depths of 10 metres (Junior) or 18 metres (Standard).
This five-day course offers a comprehensive introduction to diving. Each day includes both theoretical lessons and practical diving sessions. The initial sessions focus on essential safety skills, breathing techniques, and mastering the use of diving equipment in shallow water.
As the course progresses, you'll build on these skills with open-water dives, gradually increasing your depth and comfort level. Your instructors will guide you through underwater navigation exercises and techniques for handling unexpected challenges. By the final day, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to enjoy independent diving with a partner.
The course concludes with an assessment to ensure you're ready for certification. Successful participants will receive an internationally recognised Open Water Diver qualification.
Our centre is located at Punta Tegge in the National Park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena. Surrounded by the rich marine life of the Mediterranean, this area provides the ideal setting for both beginners and advanced divers.
The nearby beach offers a perfect spot to relax before or after your sessions.
Participants must be comfortable in the water. No prior diving experience is necessary, but a basic level of physical fitness is recommended.
