This course equips you with the skills to manage water emergencies confidently and help others in need. It’s a valuable and rewarding course that balances practical knowledge with enjoyable diving sessions, ideal for those ready to take their diving expertise further.
Across five days, you’ll participate in both theory and practical sessions that focus on improving your safety and rescue capabilities. Training starts with classroom-based lessons or briefings where you’ll learn rescue theory and how to recognise potential risks in the water.
Practical sessions are conducted in controlled diving locations, with the first dives focusing on mastering rescue techniques, such as assisting fatigued divers and underwater search patterns. Later dives incorporate realistic rescue scenarios, allowing you to refine these skills in a supportive environment. Instructors ensure every participant gains confidence and the ability to handle a variety of situations.
The course takes place at Punta Tegge, a fantastic spot within the National Park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena. Its underwater landscapes offer an ideal setting for learning, with clear waters that enhance visibility and create a safe training environment.
Our centre is located near Punta Tegge beach, allowing you to enjoy a convenient mix of training and relaxation during your time here.
Participants must be 18 or older and have prior Open Water Diving certification. Physical fitness and basic swimming skills are essential for safety and course participation.
