Leon was an amazing instructor
Hi, thanks it was great, 5 stars, great teacher. Cheers, Sarah
Our booking was at midday for 2 hours, but we didn’t get the stuff until 12:15 when the lady came back with the surf school. We were then told to bring the stuff back before 2 pm or she wouldn’t be there (we needed to get our deposit back). This…
Got some surfboards and wetsuits for a couple of hours. They were dropped off at the right place right time, he was very helpful and knowledgeable, gave us a little info about the beach because we hadn't surfed there before. Will definitely be using again and recommending
We enjoyed our kayaking thoroughly. Much thanks to Jenny who supported our ride plan and made changes accordingly. Big cheers to her 👏🏻🙌🏼
Tom was very helpful & I had a great paddle West from Saundersfoot Harbour. Thanks very much guys 😄👍

Stag and hen groups come for a two-hour surf on a Pembrokeshire beach, with boards, wetsuits and a coach. First-timers and people who already stand share the same slot. A paddle from Stackpole or Tenby, or a coasteering session, can sit on the same day if you want a second block. The beach is picked around swell, wind and tide.
The group kits up on the confirmed beach, then a short brief before everyone goes in. The surf is two hours with the coach in the water. If you have added a paddle or coasteering, that block sits around the tide, often after a break to change and eat.
Times are confirmed the day before. Anyone under 18 needs an adult with the party. The bigger coasteering jumps stay optional, so mixed confidence still works on the same route. Give the group 15 minutes before the start.
Castlemartin is the usual surf pin, at Freshwater West, SA71 5HW. The paddle uses Stackpole Quay or Tenby North Beach. Coasteering uses the cliffs around Stackpole. Water is picked to suit the forecast.
Parking sits near each spot. If a planned beach is unusable we move and message you. Check your messages the evening before so the group drives to the right car park.
Happy in the sea is enough. Able to swim about 25 metres. No experience is needed. The surf is from 7. The paddle is from 8. An adult needs to stay with anyone under 18.
Swimwear, a towel and a warm dry layer cover the basics. Old trainers stay on for coasteering. Tell us any medical notes that affect time in the water.
Your party stays together with the same coach for the surf. Coaches hold ISA awards and work as beach lifeguards, and sessions are AALA licensed. Dean has run group days on this coast since 1999.
Kit is fitted on the sand. Mixed abilities share the same coach, and the pace stays with the least confident person in the water.
The first beach pin lands the day before. The surf is usually Freshwater West, Castlemartin, SA71 5HW. Park in the beach car park and walk to the flagged meeting point.
Give the group 15 minutes before the brief. If you have added a paddle or coasteering, those pins come in the same message.
The surf block is about two hours on the sand and in the water. A paddle or coasteering add-on is about two to three hours, spaced around the tide.
Give the group 15 minutes before the first session. Times are confirmed the day before once swell, wind and tide are clear.
Every group gets a two-hour surf session, usually at Freshwater West, with boards, wetsuits and a coach. First-timers and people who already stand share the same slot.
A paddle from Stackpole or Tenby, or a coasteering session, can sit on the same booking. Those extras are optional. The surf still runs if you only want that one block.
Seven for the surf. The paddle is from eight. Coasteering ages follow the group we have on the day. Anyone under 18 needs an adult with the party.
Tell us ages so we can put the right boards and kit out. Mixed ability groups are the usual stag and hen booking. The pace stays with the least confident person in the water.
The beach pin lands the day before. The surf is usually Freshwater West, Castlemartin, SA71 5HW. The paddle uses Stackpole Quay or Tenby North Beach. Coasteering uses the Stackpole cliffs.
Park in the beach or quay car park and walk to the flagged meeting point. Check your messages the evening before so the group is not driving to a closed car park.
First-timers are the usual group. You should be happy in the sea and able to follow a simple instruction. The coach stays with the party and keeps the pace with the least confident person.
If some of the group already stand or paddle, say so at the brief. Those people can spend less time on a first-stand script while the others learn the pop-up.
Ordinary rain does not cancel the day. We move beach or time when swell or wind makes the planned spot unsafe, or if we cannot run a useful session there.
Check your messages the evening before if the group is travelling a long way, so you have the confirmed beaches before you leave.
Each person needs swimwear, a towel, a warm dry layer and sunscreen. A water bottle helps. Get changed into swimwear before you arrive if you want to skip the queue for the wetsuits.
Flip-flops are useful for the walk from the car. Leave valuables in the car. Pack a bag for wet swimwear afterwards. Old trainers stay on for coasteering if you add that block.
Surfboard and wetsuit for the surf, fitted on the sand. A paddleboard and buoyancy aid if you add the paddle. A wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet if you add coasteering.
Leave phones and bags in the car. If someone needs medication in the water, give it to the coach at the start so it can travel with the group.
Stag and hen groups here are usually mixed. The coach keeps the surf in water people can stand in for first stands, and the bigger coasteering jumps stay optional.
Tell us who is nervous before the day. We can keep those people closer and spend longer on the first minutes in the white water or on the paddle.
Able to swim about 25 metres and happy in the sea is the bar. First stands stay in water you can stand in, but you still fall in. The coach stays with the group.
If one person is very nervous, say so in advance. We would rather plan a calmer start than have someone struggle in an open party.
