Discover the charm of River Avon as you embark on a stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) adventure, one of the most delightful ways to explore and connect with nature. Nestled in the heart of the scenic Avon Valley.
Avon Valley Farm offers an idyllic starting point for your journey. The river stretches in either direction, unveiling a tapestry of nature and wildlife.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participants must have previously completed the 'Ready to Ride', 'Improver', or an equivalent session.
Upon arrival, a capability test is conducted in line with our company and COVID-19 safety precautions. Only those who demonstrate competence will be allowed on the water.
All participants are required to wear a PFD during their session for safety reasons and as per our company and insurance policies.
We use top-notch paddleboards, and all our equipment, including wetsuits, is cleaned and prepped for each session. We help you have a great and safe activity combined with our stunning location, makes us a premier choice for SUP hire.
Please wear footwear suitable for the outdoors for arrival and wetsuit boots, water shoes or old trainers for the lesson. Wear something comfortable, we have wetsuits available, but if you have your own then please do bring it along. Please do not wear anything you could lose during the session, eg. rings, earrings, expensive watches, etc. All our participants must wear a PFD / buoyancy aid at all times (provided)!
We will contact you in case of adverse weather or inadequate conditions. Once a session is booked, please presume it will go ahead unless we contact you. Adverse weather means, thunderstorms, gail force winds, freezing cold conditions, or a downpour of heavy rain. All other conditions, including light rain, we will proceed as normal.
