You'll learn how to:
Following a brief introduction, safety briefing and equipment check, we'll go through the basic paddle skills you'll be putting into practice on the water.
You'll be using sit-on-top kayaks for this trip, which are really sturdy and easy to maneuver. You're pretty unlikely to capsize, but you will probably get a wet bottom so dress accordingly!
We'll then set off on a guided exploration of the River Avon. Our expert guides will help you with wildlife spotting and give you interesting facts and insights into the River Avon and its inhabitants.

The trip takes place on the River Avon, situated between Bath and Bristol. We'll meet at our base in Keynsham, near Avon Valley Farm. Upon arrival at Avon Valley Farm, you'll be able follow signs to our car park. We will send you our full address, postcode, and What3Words upon booking.

No prior experience is needed. Our trained instructors will provide guidance throughout the tour.
The River Avon is home to a variety of wildlife, including Kingfishers, Herons, Dragonflies, and occasionally Otters.
Plenty of free parking is available on-site, including disabled parking areas. An overflow car park is present for larger groups.
We will contact you in case of adverse weather or inadequate conditions. Once a session is booked, please presume it will go ahead unless we contact you. Adverse weather means, thunderstorms, gail force winds, freezing cold conditions, or a downpour of heavy rain. All other conditions, including light rain, we will proceed as normal.
