Had a great time learning my Part A of the PADI Open Water course. Instructor was great and easy to understand

Take your diving skills to the next level with the PADI Rescue Diver Course, designed to make you a more confident, prepared, and capable diver. This course focuses on problem prevention and management, helping you to think beyond yourself and respond effectively in emergency situations.
Challenging yet incredibly rewarding, the Rescue Diver course enhances your ability to identify and manage potential dive emergencies, assist other divers in distress, and improve your own self-rescue skills. When paired with the Emergency First Response (EFR) course, you'll gain essential CPR and first aid training, making you a well-rounded and responsible diver.
Duration: 2 full days
Minimum Age: 15 years
Prerequisite: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Online eLearning: Approx. 10 hours (to be completed before the in-water sessions)
Certification Earned: PADI Rescue Diver Certification
Your training starts with rescue skill development in a controlled pool environment, allowing you to build confidence before progressing to open water.
If you're taking the course between December and April, a Drysuit Orientation is required to help you adjust to colder water conditions. You can add this when you book.
This is where you apply your skills in realistic rescue scenarios at one of the UK’s top inland dive training sites.
By the end of the course, you’ll be confident handling emergency situations and able to assist other divers safely and effectively.
The EFR course is essential for divers looking to complete their Rescue Diver certification and equips you with life-saving skills.
Already have valid CPR/First Aid training within the last 24 months? You can skip this add-on when booking.
