Entrance tickets are extra. If the garden is sold out, those hours stay in the old city. There is no sit-down lunch in this format, which is the main difference from the full-day listing.
Gueliz holds Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum a short drive from the medina walls. The rest of the half day sits in the historic core: palaces, the kasbah gate and the lanes off the main square.
Using a car for this length of outing is about joining those two halves without a taxi hunt in between. You still walk at each stop. The vehicle is for the gaps, not a replacement for the medina on foot.

Majorelle Garden is a walled landscape of cactus, water and cobalt walls created by Jacques Majorelle. Entry is ticketed and often timed online, so we aim this stop at the slot you hold rather than joining a walk-up queue. If you would rather skip it, the same hours open in the medina instead.
The Koutoubia minaret is viewed from the gardens and the square, not from inside the prayer hall. It is the city's tallest historic tower and a useful first orientation if you have not yet walked this part of town. The stop is short and outdoor, which helps if the half day is running against a garden slot.
A walk through the mellah, the historic Jewish quarter, shows a different street grain from the main tourist souks. Synagogue heritage and quieter residential lanes sit close to the palaces, so it fits a half day without a long extra drive. If this is not of interest, those minutes move to Bahia or the markets.
Bahia Palace is the main indoor monument on the half day: courtyards, painted ceilings and tilework from the late nineteenth century. Tickets are bought at the door. In a shorter outing we keep the visit moving so there is still time for the kasbah gate and the square afterwards.
Bab Agnaou opens into the royal kasbah. From the gate you see the Kasbah Mosque from outside and get a sense of the citadel streets. The stop is brief and works well as a hinge between palaces and the walk toward Jemaa el-Fna.
The last block is Jemaa el-Fna and the covered souks: crafts, spices and the lanes that feed the square. You walk with the driver-guide or browse on your own while the car waits at an agreed point. Keep bags close in the crowds, then return to your hotel or riad at the end of the half day.
