


A perfect start for beginners, the AIDA** courses are one of the most comprehensive introduction programmes to the world of freediving. Our AIDA 2 Freediver course is designed to provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely freedive for recreational purposes. This course is ideal for students who are already confident and happy in the water and are looking to explore the depths safely and effectively.
AIDA 2 Freediver covers the following skills:
By the end of the weekend, you could be diving to depths of up to 20 metres in the most relaxed and safe manner possible.
This course will take place across two locations. We will complete day one at Hatfield Swim Centre, where we will focus on theory and confined water training. On the second day, we will meet at Wraysbury Dive Centre, for the open water component of the course.

The AIDA Beginner Freediver Course is a foundational programme designed to introduce students to the world of freediving. It covers the necessary skills and knowledge for non-competitive, recreational freediving, including safety procedures, dive planning, and basic freediving disciplines such as Static Apnea, Dynamic Apnea, and Constant Weight.

Equipment can be hired on a first-booked, first-served basis for £35pp.
Scuba fins, snorkel fins, masks, and drysuits are not suitable for freediving.
Upon successful completion of the AIDA Beginner Freediver Course, you will receive the AIDA ** Freediver certification. This certifies that you have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to safely freedive up to depths of 20 meters with or without a guideline.
