Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech to Agafay Desert
You will be collected from your accommodation in Marrakech and transferred to the Agafay Desert. Your first e-bike ride takes you across the rocky desert terrain, allowing you to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The day concludes with an overnight stay in a luxury desert camp.
Day 2: Agafay Desert to Ouirgane
Today’s ride follows the Amizmiz Valley towards Ouirgane. You’ll pass several traditional Berber villages, offering insight into local life. The terrain remains accessible, perfect for beginners to build confidence and enjoy the surroundings.
Day 3: Exploring Ouirgane Valley
Starting from your hotel in Ouirgane, you can choose a half or full-day ride. The route combines dirt roads and single tracks winding through the valley, allowing encounters with local villagers and a chance to observe traditional farming practices amidst varied natural scenery.
Day 4: Ouirgane to Imlil via Azzaden Valley
Your journey continues through the Azzaden Valley to Tinzert town, located within the Ouirgane National Park. The mostly dirt path offers a relaxed pace with scenic mountain views as you head towards Imlil.
Day 5: Tizi n’Tamaterte Pass
This is the most challenging day as you ride over the Tizi n’Tamaterte pass at 2300 metres. The e-bike’s electric assist makes the climb manageable, and you’ll be rewarded with expansive views of Mount Toubkal and the surrounding peaks.
Day 6: Imlil and Return to Marrakech
The final half-day ride takes you through Berber towns in the foothills of Mount Toubkal near Imlil. After lunch, you will be transferred back to Marrakech, concluding your cycling adventure. The itinerary can be adjusted to suit group preferences and weather conditions.
