Marrakech is your base for four nights while daily private trips reach the Atlas, Agafay desert and Ourika Valley. An afternoon medina orientation on day one lets you unpack once and return to the same courtyard each evening. Imlil or Asni village walks fill day two, Agafay stone desert or kasbah country visits day three with an optional camel ride, and Ourika waterfalls or markets close day four.
Check-in at the same medina riad for all four nights comes first, with an afternoon orientation through souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa near your door so you unpack once rather than repacking each evening. An Atlas day trip to Imlil or Asni on day two brings village walks and walnut groves in the High Atlas foothills, returning to your riad by evening. Agafay stone desert or the Ait Benhaddou direction on day three delivers kasbah photos and an optional camel ride, with camp night or return to the riad depending on your choice.
Ourika Valley waterfalls or Souk Semmarine shape day four before a final evening in Marrakech, and airport transfer on a following day can be arranged on request. Each morning your driver collects you from the riad for outward trips radiating from the red city hub.
Marrakech medina and your riad base put Jemaa el-Fnaa, souks and courtyard calm within walking distance every evening after day trips. Imlil and Asni village walks in the High Atlas foothills bring mountain lunch views and Berber valley scenery within a half-day radius of the city.
Agafay's stone desert and optional kasbah direction on day three deliver camel rides and lunar landscapes without leaving the Marrakech region for days, while Ourika Valley waterfalls and riverside paths colour the final outing. Riad-based travel suits first-time visitors who want mountains, desert taste and medina life from one unpacked base.
Medina walking and half-day drives on days two through four suit most visitors, with Atlas village walks optional and usually moderate rather than strenuous. Desert camp on night three is optional depending on whether you choose Agafay camp or return to the riad.
Pack comfortable shoes for medina lanes and village paths, sun protection and a day bag for water on outing days. A warm layer helps in the Atlas foothills, and swimwear suits Ourika stops in warmer months when you plan riverside time.
Four nights in the same riad mean unpack once while private day trips cover Atlas villages, stone desert and valley scenery without nightly hotel changes. Outward radiating days from your medina door let Marrakech culture and mountain or desert outings share one booking.
Your driver collects you each morning from the riad and returns you each evening, keeping luggage and routine simple for first-time Marrakech visitors. Local knowledge on Imlil paths, Agafay camp timing and Ourika waterfall pacing makes the hub-and-spoke week feel varied without exhaustion.
Afternoon orientation in the souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa near your riad lets you settle in without a long road day on arrival. You unpack once for the full four-night stay with the medina on your doorstep.
Wear comfortable shoes for medina lanes and carry a small day bag for water. A High Atlas day trip to Imlil is tomorrow.
The drive through Asni to Imlil opens village walks and walnut groves in the High Atlas foothills with mountain lunch on the trail. You return to your riad by evening with time to rest before dinner in the medina.
Closed shoes help on village paths and a light layer is useful at altitude. Agafay stone desert or kasbah country is day three.
A stone desert camel ride or the Ait Benhaddou direction brings photo stops and pre-Sahara scenery without leaving Marrakech for multiple nights. An optional camp night is possible, or you return to the riad for a comfortable bed.
Sun hat and scarf help on open desert sections. Ourika Valley and a final riad evening are tomorrow.
A waterfall walk or market stop in the Ourika Valley fills the morning before a final evening in Marrakech near your riad. Airport transfer on day five can be arranged if your departure needs it.
Wear shoes you can walk in on valley paths and bring sun protection. This closes the four-night Marrakech base with three varied day trips.
Your Marrakech riad is home base for four nights, with day-one afternoon orientation on foot near your door before outward trips on days two through four. Each morning your driver collects you from the same riad for Atlas, Agafay or Ourika outings and returns you each evening.
Menara airport transfer on arrival or departure can be arranged when you share flight times, keeping the riad as your single unpacked base across the week. Share your riad address before travel so we confirm the best drop-off point for luggage on day one.
Four consecutive nights in the same Marrakech riad give you a settled medina base while day trips radiate to the Atlas, Agafay and Ourika Valley. Private rooms for your group mean you unpack once rather than moving hotels every night, with breakfast at the riad before each excursion.
Night three may be a desert camp near Agafay or a return to the riad if you prefer every night in the city, shaped around your Agafay or Zagora day-trip choice when you book. Riad rooms are characterful and atmospheric, with your driver handling luggage at the nearest vehicle access on medina lanes.
You'll be collected from your Marrakech riad each morning for day trips.
The riad remains your base for all four nights with airport transfer on arrival arranged when you share flight times. Share your hotel, riad or port arrival details when you enquire and we confirm pickup time the day before travel, including the nearest vehicle access on narrow medina lanes.
The same riad is your base for four nights while day trips radiate outward.
Only night three might be camp if you choose that option on the Agafay day. Your driver-guide builds each day around weather, light and group pace, and can extend or shorten time on site when you ask on the road.
Atlas, desert and Ourika days can flex when you enquire with interests.
Tell us your priorities before booking. Your driver-guide builds each day around weather, light and group pace, and can extend or shorten time on site when you ask on the road.
Riad base plus guided day trips cover medina, mountains and desert taste in one booking.

Four nights in the same Marrakech riad in the medina.
Desert camp on night three is optional depending on the Agafay or Zagora day-trip choice. Hotel nights are in private rooms for your group, while desert camp is simple shared tents with mattresses and blankets under the stars.
Meals on the itinerary are included at the riad and on day-trip lunches.
Tell us about dietary needs when you enquire. Drinks are not included. Breakfast and dinner are usually included where the itinerary lists hotel or camp nights, with lunch often on the road at a café or picnic stop between driving legs.
Comfortable shoes for medina lanes and village paths, sun protection and a day bag for water on outing days.
A warm layer helps in the Atlas foothills. Keep a refillable water bottle and any daily essentials in the bag you carry in the vehicle, and ask when you enquire if you want seasonal advice for Atlas cold or desert heat.
Medina walking and half-day drives on days two through four suit most visitors.
Atlas village walks are optional and usually moderate. Tell us about mobility or fitness concerns when you enquire and your guide adjusts gorge walks, medina time and driving breaks around the group rather than a rigid schedule.
Families who enjoy day trips from a fixed base can often join. Share ages when you enquire.
Same riad each night simplifies routines for younger travellers. Share children's ages and how they handle long travel days when you enquire, and we advise honestly on pacing and seat comfort for the driving days on this route.
Atlas or Ourika day trips may shift to calmer medina or garden time when mountain weather turns.
Your driver adjusts daily plans around conditions without changing your riad booking. Winter snow can slow High Atlas passes and desert wind may shift camel timing, so we adjust for safety and keep you informed rather than pushing a fixed timetable.
