This 15-day trek offers a well-supported journey through Nepal’s Everest region, combining cultural experiences with high-altitude trekking. Starting in Kathmandu, the trip includes guided sightseeing before heading into the mountains, where the route follows established trails through Sherpa villages and alpine landscapes.
The itinerary is designed to provide a balance between steady progress and acclimatisation, helping you adjust safely to increasing altitude. With accommodation, flights, permits, and guiding support arranged, the focus remains on enjoying the experience while moving towards Everest Base Camp and beyond.
The team brings strong experience in delivering fully supported trekking experiences across Nepal, with careful attention to safety, pacing, and comfort. From arrival to departure, each stage is planned to ensure a smooth and organised journey, even in remote mountain environments.
A clear focus is placed on combining adventure with cultural understanding. With knowledgeable guides and a structured itinerary, travellers gain more than just the physical achievement, with insight into the region, its people, and its traditions throughout the trip.
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel, where you’ll meet your guide during a pre-trip briefing. The first evening includes a welcome dinner, offering an introduction to Nepali cuisine and culture.
The following day is dedicated to exploring Kathmandu Valley with a guided tour. Visits include Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square. These sites provide a strong cultural foundation before heading into the mountains. Time is also set aside for final trek preparation and equipment checks.
Following the Dudh Koshi River, the route crosses multiple suspension bridges and passes through small settlements before reaching the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. After registration, the trail climbs steadily towards Namche Bazaar, the main hub of the region.
A full day is spent here for acclimatisation. You can explore local shops, visit the Sherpa Culture Museum, or take a short hike to nearby viewpoints for your first clear views of Everest and surrounding peaks.
Leaving Namche, the trail follows a scenic contour with open views before descending to the river and climbing again towards Tengboche. Here, you’ll visit the monastery, an important spiritual site in the region.
The trek then continues through forest and across rivers towards Dingboche. As altitude increases, the landscape becomes more open, with wider views of the surrounding peaks.
The route continues with a gradual climb towards Duglha before a steeper section leading to a ridge marked by memorials. From here, the trail follows the Khumbu Glacier towards Lobuche.
The following day is one of the key highlights, trekking to Gorak Shep and then onwards to Everest Base Camp. The terrain becomes more rugged with rocky paths and glacial sections. After spending time at base camp, you’ll return to Gorak Shep for the night.
The return journey retraces the route through Tengboche and back to Namche Bazaar. With decreasing altitude, walking becomes easier and more relaxed.
From Namche, you’ll continue down towards Lukla, crossing bridges and passing familiar villages. The final evening in Lukla offers a chance to reflect on the journey with the team.
A morning flight takes you back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free for relaxation or exploring the city, followed by a farewell dinner to mark the completion of the trek.
On the final day, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
Accommodation in Kathmandu is provided in 3, 4, or 5-star hotels, offering a comfortable stay with modern facilities. This allows for proper rest before and after the trekking portion of the trip.
During the trek, accommodation is in local guesthouses or lodges. These provide simple but practical facilities, including meals and basic rooms. While comfort levels reduce slightly at higher altitudes, they remain suitable for trekking conditions.

The structure of the itinerary also allows for proper acclimatisation, making the experience more manageable and comfortable.
Acclimatisation days are built into the itinerary at Namche Bazaar and Dingboche. These rest days allow your body to adjust gradually to higher elevations.
Short hikes during these days help support the process while still allowing time to recover.
In Kathmandu, you will stay in a hotel with a higher level of comfort. This includes standard amenities suitable for relaxing before and after the trek.
During the trek, accommodation is in lodges or teahouses. These are simple but provide everything needed for a comfortable overnight stay.
