After a pre-trip briefing in Kathmandu, the group heads to Pokhara and on to Ghandruk to begin trekking. The route climbs through Sinuwa and Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp before a lower return path through Bamboo and Jhinu Danda back towards the road.
Kathmandu nights are spent in a three-star or better hotel with private facilities, while guesthouses on the trail offer twin rooms, hot meals and a heated common room, with facilities becoming simpler above Chhomrong. Every bed, whether hotel or guesthouse, is booked and confirmed ahead of departure as part of the inclusive package.
Every element of this trip, from airport pickup to the final farewell dinner, is arranged in advance so there is nothing left to organise once you land in Kathmandu. Guides are local to the villages the trail passes through and carry a first aid kit and communications equipment for the more remote stretches above Chhomrong.
Group sizes are kept manageable, and a private departure with its own guide and porter can be arranged for solo trekkers, couples or families who prefer their own pace.
The Annapurna Sanctuary is a high bowl of ground hidden behind Annapurna South and Hiunchuli, reachable only on foot through forested valleys and Gurung farmland that climb steadily from the warm lowlands near Pokhara. Ghandruk and Chhomrong, the two main villages on this route, are known for stone farmhouses, prayer flags and some of the clearest mountain views in the region.
Pokhara itself sits on Phewa Lake with the Annapurna range visible from the waterfront on a clear day, and Kathmandu, where an airport pickup starts and ends the trip, holds centuries of Hindu and Buddhist heritage within a short drive of most hotels.

Every guesthouse has a heated common room for the evenings, ideal for drying out kit and meeting other trekkers on the same route. A sleeping bag is still worth carrying for the colder nights near base camp, since bedding at altitude tends to be simple blankets rather than heated rooms.
