Day 1: Drive to Kande, then Trek to Samjay Deurali (2,100m)

Your journey with Alpine Club of Himalaya begins in Pokhara. Early in the morning, you will meet your trekking guide at around 6:30 AM, or you may choose to meet the evening before for preparation and briefing. A private vehicle will take you on a short scenic drive to Kande, which takes about one hour. From here, the trek officially starts. The trail ascends through stone-paved steps and enters into forested pathways, gradually opening up to the famous Australian Base Camp. This section of the trek rewards you with the first close-up glimpse of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South. After a brief stop, you will continue walking for three to four hours through charming villages and forests until you reach Samjay Deurali. This spot offers stunning views and is a perfect place to rest overnight.

Day 2: Trek to Badal Danda

After a hearty breakfast at Samjay Deurali, you will begin trekking along peaceful trails surrounded by beautiful forests. The path first takes you to Kokar, also known as Forest Camp, where you will stop for lunch. This section is filled with lush rhododendron forests, making springtime treks especially colorful. Day 5: Trek to Sidhing and Drive to Pokhara (800m | 2,624ft)

After breakfast at Low Camp, the trail descends through dense forest paths toward Sidhing village. This part of the trek is quieter, with fewer trekkers, offering a chance to enjoy the serenity of nature. On the way, you may pass some newly opened teahouses and encounter local villagers going about their daily life. After about three hours of trekking, you will reach Sidhing, where a private vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to Pokhara. The drive takes about three hours, passing through scenic hills and rivers. Upon arrival in Pokhara, your Short Mardi Himal Trek with Alpine Club of Himalaya officially comes to an end.
