If you want paint games without the harder hit, this one-hour indoor splat session in Portadown is built for birthdays, youth groups, and first-timers. We'll kit you out with low-velocity markers, run the briefing, and keep the missions moving so the hour feels busy rather than stop-start.
Camo kit goes on first, along with a low-velocity marker and a full-face mask, then marshals talk through the rules before anyone enters the arena. Splat is made for younger players and first-timers, so the paint hits softer than high-velocity paintball. The briefing covers when you are out, how the team missions work, and why the mask stays on, then the group walks in together.
The hour itself is packed. Paint is unlimited, so markers get reloaded as you go and nobody is left standing around empty. You play fast team games, duck behind cover, and swap ends between rounds. Short breaks sit in the lobby so the group can drink and catch their breath, then it is straight back onto the field for the next mission.

You are about 25 minutes from Belfast via the M1, with a short hop from the local train station. Follow the signs for the indoor combat centre once you reach Bleary Road. Leave a little extra time at the weekend so the whole group is ready for the briefing rather than arriving in dribs and drabs.
Players need to be 7 or over, able to move around the arena, and happy to wear full face protection for the whole session. No previous paint-game experience is required. We include the kit and talk everyone through the rules before the first game starts.
Groups need 6 to 50 players so the missions work as team games. If your group is 14 and over and wants the harder hit of high-velocity paintball, that is a different session. For mixed-age parties and first goes, splat is the one that fits.
Parts of the mill date back to 1619, and the first indoor arenas opened to players in 2019 after conversion work started in 2017. Trained marshals brief every splat group and stay with the games, so first-timers are not left guessing what to do.
Low-velocity markers keep the session suitable for ages 7 and over, while still feeling like a proper paint game with colour everywhere. The hour stays indoors, paint is unlimited, and coffee, hot food, and snacks are on site for adults waiting in the lobby.

Yes. This session includes unlimited paint for the hour, so you are not counting balls between games. Markers are reloaded as the session goes on.
Food and drinks in the lobby are still extra. Transport to the meeting point is not included.
Yes. The arena is fully indoors, so rain, wind, or a dark evening does not stop play. You stay under cover from check-in through the last game.
Wear clothes you do not mind getting paint on. Overalls go over the top, but cuffs and shoes still pick up colour.

Wear clothes you do not mind getting paint on, plus closed-toe trainers. We provide the camo kit and face protection over the top.
Bring a bottle of water. A spare top in the car is useful if someone gets covered and wants a dry layer for the journey home.
Paintball on the other activity is high-velocity and is for ages 14 and over. Splat uses low-velocity markers and is the right fit for ages 7 and over.
If you are unsure which one to choose, pick splat for mixed-age or first-timer groups and paintball for older teens and adults who want a harder game.
Yes. The lobby has coffee, hot food, and snacks between games. Those are extra and chosen on the day if you want them.
Bring a bottle of water as well so players can drink during breaks. You can pick up more in the lobby if you run out.

We're based in a historic mill in Portadown, with a fully indoor arena so you can play whatever the weather is doing. You'll find airsoft, paintball, splat, foam-dart battles, archery tag, and axe throwing under one roof, and our marshals brief every group before you step into the arena.
Between games you can take a break in the lobby with coffee, hot food, and snacks on site. We're about 25 minutes from Belfast via the M1, so it's an easy run for groups coming from the city or either airport.
