Challenge yourself with a half-day rock climbing experience at Harrison’s Rocks. You’ll learn essential climbing skills including tying knots, belaying, and basic techniques while scaling beginner-friendly sandstone routes. Expert instructors guide you safely through each stage, ensuring an engaging and confidence-building session.
The session begins with a safety briefing and introduction to climbing equipment. You’ll be guided through fitting your harness and helmet, as well as learning essential knots and group belaying methods. Warm-up bouldering problems prepare your body for climbing the main routes.
After mastering the basics, you’ll tackle sandstone climbs ranging from 30–40ft, chosen to match your ability. Instructors will demonstrate proper technique, helping you refine foot placement, handholds, and movement strategies while climbing. You’ll rotate between routes, consolidating skills in a safe, supervised environment.
Towards the end of the session, you’ll review what you’ve learned and have time to climb additional routes of your choice under guidance. The combination of hands-on climbing, technique coaching, and real outdoor practice ensures you leave with confidence and a solid foundation for future climbs.
