Spend two hours mixing and matching a range of easy-to-use watercraft in a friendly lake setting designed for shared fun. This session is ideal for families, friends, and small groups who want variety, flexibility, and plenty of time to enjoy the water together. With supervision and facilities included, it’s a simple way to enjoy time outdoors without committing to just one activity.
After checking in and getting kitted up with buoyancy aids, you’ll be introduced to the range of equipment available for the session. You’re free to choose between pedal boats, single or double sit-on-top kayaks, and paddleboards, switching between them during your two-hour slot to suit the group’s energy and confidence levels.
Some groups start with pedal boats to get everyone comfortable, while others jump straight into paddling. The open layout of the lake makes it easy to share space, regroup between activities, and take breaks as needed. Qualified staff remain present throughout, keeping a watchful eye while allowing you to enjoy the session at your own pace.
Changing rooms and showers are available before and after your time on the water, making it straightforward to get changed and warmed up. Spectators are welcome to stay nearby, adding to the relaxed and sociable feel of the session.
The session takes place at Lower Moor, set within a holiday park environment surrounded by open countryside. The lake is spring-fed and regularly monitored, creating a clean and well-maintained space that’s suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.
Free on-site parking is available, with clear signage guiding you from arrival through to the lakeside facilities. Everything is located within a short walk, making it easy to manage equipment and keep groups together.
Children aged 8 and over may take part independently on the water, while those aged 3 and above are welcome when supervised by an adult on the water. Supervising adults must remain on site for the duration of the session.
All participants must complete a waiver before taking part, with under-18s requiring an adult signature. Weight limits and age requirements apply to each craft type and must be followed at all times.
This session is designed to give maximum choice in a short space of time, making it especially popular with mixed-ability groups. The ability to switch between activities keeps things fresh and allows everyone to find something they enjoy.
Experienced staff provide supervision and rescue cover without over-structuring the session, creating a balance between safety and freedom. Well-maintained equipment, clean facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere help make this an easy and enjoyable option for all ages.
You can choose from pedal boats, single sit-on-top kayaks, double sit-on-top kayaks, and stand up paddleboards. You’re free to swap between activities during the session, depending on availability.
This flexibility makes the session ideal for groups with different interests, as everyone can try more than one option.
Children aged 3 and above can take part when supervised by an adult on the water. Child-sized safety equipment is available to help younger participants feel secure.
Those aged 8 and over can participate without an adult on the water, provided they meet the requirements for the chosen craft.
Yes, buoyancy aids are included and must be worn by all participants while on the water. A range of sizes is available to ensure a comfortable fit.
Staff will help check sizing before launch to make sure everyone is properly equipped.
Spectators are welcome to stay for the duration of your visit at no extra charge. This works well for family members who prefer to watch from the shore.
Numbers should be kept reasonable to ensure safe access around the lakeside areas.
The lake is spring-fed and regularly tested for water quality. While swimming isn’t part of the session, accidental splashes or falls are managed safely.
Rescue cover is in place throughout, and staff are trained to respond quickly if needed.
Arriving around 15 minutes before your session is recommended. This allows time for check-in, waivers, and getting fitted with safety equipment.
Prompt arrival helps ensure you receive the full two hours on the water.
Comfortable clothing suitable for getting wet is best, along with old trainers or wetsuit shoes. Swimwear underneath is recommended if you’re hiring a wetsuit.
Bring a towel and warm clothes for afterwards, especially on cooler days.
Rain does not affect your session; you will still be able to take part. Since you will get wet anyway, it can even be more fun in the rain!
If the weather becomes unsafe, such as lightning or thunder, the session will pause until conditions improve. You’ll be given options to rebook or request a refund if a session is cancelled.
Should Aztec Adventure Ltd, for reasons beyond their control (including high winds, lightning storms and icy conditions*), feel it is necessary to close the activity once your party have already commenced participation, you will be offered alternative activities, times or dates to return within one year and rescheduled free of charge.
Alternatively, you may opt to receive a gift card for the full value of your booking, which can be used to rebook at a date and time that suits your group within 12 months.
In such circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund, in part or whole.
*In all other weather conditions, we operate as normal and standard conditions apply.
