Take your yoga practice out on the water with this gentle and supportive SUP Yoga session. Set on the peaceful river near Arden Sailing Club, this experience welcomes everyone—whether it’s your first time on a paddleboard or you're already familiar with yoga. It’s a chance to stretch, breathe, and enjoy a relaxed, nature-based class in a unique setting.
Sessions begin at Arden Sailing Club, where you'll have a chance to settle in, meet the group, and chat through any questions. Once everyone is ready, there's a short land-based briefing covering the basics of stand-up paddleboarding, along with essential safety tips. Even if you’ve never been on a board before, you'll be guided step-by-step to help you feel confident and comfortable.
You’ll then enjoy a gentle paddle downstream, either kneeling or standing—whichever works best for you. Once in position, you’ll anchor your board and ease into a 45-minute guided yoga session. The class includes clear demonstrations and multiple options for each posture so you can practise at your own pace. The experience closes with a floating shavasana, a chance to lie back on your board and simply breathe with the natural surroundings.
After the main session, there’s time for optional extra practice, swimming, or a few relaxed photos on your board. Then it’s back to the clubhouse to change, shower, and head home—refreshed, calm, and maybe already planning your next session.
