The lake is regularly tested for water quality, and rescue cover is provided during the session. Kayak hire is available during weekends, bank holidays, and daily throughout school holidays, making it an ideal activity to fit into any schedule. The session is self-paced, so you can enjoy the water at your own speed, with no pressure to rush.
The session takes place at Aztec Adventure Lower Moor, The Springs Holiday Park in Lower Moor, near Pershore, Worcestershire, set on a 6-acre spring-fed lake that is regularly tested for water quality. All activities are supervised by our qualified team, with full rescue cover in place for your peace of mind.
The park provides a peaceful setting surrounded by natural beauty, with easy access by car and free parking available on site. Visitors can enjoy all the necessary amenities to make their visit comfortable while taking part in water-based activities.
Basic swimming skills are required for safety, although life jackets are provided. There is a weight limit of around 120kg (18 stone) per kayak.
With qualified, friendly instructors, the centre offers a welcoming environment for all participants, whether you’re just having fun or looking to gain a qualification in kayaking or other water sports. The team is dedicated to providing a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can enjoy themselves, both on and off the water.
Rain does not affect your session; you will still be able to take part. Since you will get wet anyway, it can even be more fun in the rain!
If the weather becomes unsafe, such as lightning or thunder, the session will pause until conditions improve. You’ll be given options to rebook or request a refund if a session is cancelled.
Should Aztec Adventure Ltd, for reasons beyond their control (including high winds, lightning storms and icy conditions*), feel it is necessary to close the activity once your party have already commenced participation, you will be offered alternative activities, times or dates to return within one year and rescheduled free of charge.
Alternatively, you may opt to receive a gift card for the full value of your booking, which can be used to rebook at a date and time that suits your group within 12 months.
In such circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund, in part or whole.
*In all other weather conditions, we operate as normal and standard conditions apply.
