Are you ready for an exciting outdoor adventure? Gorge walking is a great way to explore the natural beauty of North Wales while tackling various physical challenges. You’ll get the chance to leap into plunge pools, scramble over rocks, and slide down natural water chutes, all under the guidance of expert instructors. This activity offers a unique way to experience the outdoors, combining nature and physical activity in a fun, accessible way.
Prepare for an action-packed adventure as you traverse through a river gorge. You'll navigate over rocks, jump into deep pools, slide down natural water chutes, and even climb up waterfalls.
Get ready to get wet and fully immerse yourself in the stunning North Welsh landscape. Along the way, you'll encounter temperate rainforest wildlife and experience the refreshing (clean) Welsh water.
Safety is our top priority, and our experienced guides will provide essential safety instructions, top-of-the-line equipment, and expert guidance throughout your journey. Expect to push your physical limits, reconnect with nature, and create unforgettable memories on this adventure.
We begin the session at our Llangollen centre before a short 20-minute drive to our local gorge, located just outside Corwen.
Transportation is generally provided, although in some cases, participants may be asked to make their own way. The area is surrounded by lush green landscapes, providing a beautiful backdrop to the adventure.
No prior experience is required for gorge walking, making it suitable for beginners. Participants must be at least 8 years old and accompanied by an adult if they are children.
If you have any special requirements, we ask that you inform us in advance so we can accommodate your needs.
