Welcome to our FAA Level 2 Defibrillation Training – CPR-AED course, where you'll acquire essential lifesaving skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. This comprehensive programme focuses on equipping you with the knowledge and confidence to effectively utilise Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and administer resuscitation techniques in emergency situations.
Our course curriculum is designed to cover a wide range of topics essential for effective emergency response. Over the duration of at least six contact hours, you'll engage in both practical and theoretical activities. These include understanding your responsibilities and reporting procedures, mastering the latest techniques in CPR, addressing airway obstructions, and swiftly assessing emergency situations.
You'll also learn to recognise symptoms of heart attacks, operate AED devices safely, manage unconscious casualties, and implement infection control practices. Moreover, specialised training will be provided for paediatric defibrillation, ensuring you're equipped to respond to emergencies involving children.
