This half day brings together a desert buggy run with hotel collection in Marrakesh. Agafay stone desert and Palmeraie palm groves sit just outside Marrakesh, far from the medina crowds and hotel pool. Briefing, kit and pacing are handled by the crew so you can enjoy the ride or reef time.
Once briefed and kitted, you join the convoy with the lead guide setting speed to match the least experienced rider. Stops for photos and Bedouin tea break up the buggy riding, and the pace stays sensible on dune sections. Dust, sun and vibration are part of the experience, so closed shoes and sunglasses help on the trail. The loop can adjust if sand storms or extreme heat are forecast, with the crew shortening the route or shifting start time when needed. The core of the day is guided atv / quad safari time in the Morocco scenery. Stay with your group, listen to the briefing and ask if you want a slower pace or extra help with kit. Listen to paddle commands, spacing advice or riding tips from your guide and stay with the group unless told otherwise.
Take a breather between active sections, drink water and check kit with your guide before continuing with the second part of the session. Your guide stays close throughout and can slow the pace if you want extra help with kit, spacing in the water or a quieter route on the trail.
After the last section you transfer back to your hotel in Marrakesh. The whole experience is about 4 hours door to door, so keep the rest of your schedule flexible. Gather your belongings, thank the crew and double-check you have towels, dry clothes and anything you left on the boat or at the base before you leave.
