Whats the cost of a Private Course?

If you have a group of people to put through a course, we can arrange a course for you, which will be charged at a day rate + costs, rather then per person. Give us shout if you need us to provide a quote for this.

Is there a minimum age?

Unfortunately for all RLSS First Aid and Water Safety qualifications have a minimum age of 16. However, if you have a group of young people you'd like to get involved, we can arrange this for you!

What are the prerequisites?

There is no prior experience required to take part in any of our courses. With exception to a First Aid At Work Requalification.

Can I combine Courses?

Yes! Some of our courses can be combined. Get in touch with the team to chat about putting a programme together to get you were you need to be.

Activity Highlights:

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a one day first aid qualification that covers a range of CPR and emergency first aid skills. It provides candidates with the skills to reduce the risks and dangers in your workplace – because a safe working environment is a basic right for all workers and a responsibility for all employers.

The course covers:

- Understanding the role and responsibilities of a first aider

- How to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally

- How to manage a casualty who is in shock

- How to assess an incident

- How to recognise and assist a casualty who is choking

- How to manage a casualty with a minor injury

- How to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally

- How to manage a casualty with external bleeding

Our Trainers are all experienced Outdoor Instructors who have held a variety of different First Aid Qualifications and filled the role of a first aider in many capacities. The background of our training team includes working as Outdoor Instructors, Rescue Divers, Dive Medical Instructors and Active Coastguard Rescue Officers.

All of our Trainers are passionate about what they do and work hard to tailor all training and delivery styles to you, your group and what they need. We ensure all trainers are delivering at the top of their game, with the most up to date advice. What makes us a bit different is the way we always try to deliver courses with two trainers. That way you get more contact with your trainers and a even more varied trainer background and approach to delivery.
