Enjoy a guided double buggy safari in the desert surrounding Sharm El Sheikh, combining off-road driving with a cultural stop at a Bedouin village. This short, accessible experience includes hotel transfers and is suitable for first-time buggy drivers.
The activity begins with pickup from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, followed by a short transfer into the surrounding desert to the buggy base. On arrival, you’ll receive a safety briefing and an introduction to the buggy controls. There is time to test drive the vehicle and get comfortable before the guided ride starts, with helmets provided as standard.
Once underway, you’ll drive along established desert tracks at a controlled pace, travelling across sand and low dunes rather than technical terrain. The outward ride lasts around an hour and is led by a desert instructor, making it suitable for beginners who want a straightforward off-road driving experience without technical challenges.
Midway through the tour, the group stops at a Bedouin village. Here, you’ll have time to rest, drink traditional Bedouin tea, and learn a little about desert life and customs. After the stop, the return journey follows the desert route back to the starting point, before transferring back to your hotel. Pickup times vary by hotel location and are confirmed via WhatsApp in advance.
The safari takes place in the desert areas surrounding Sharm El Sheikh, characterised by wide sandy plains and low dunes rather than steep or technical terrain. This makes the area well suited to buggy driving at a steady pace.

This activity is not recommended for pregnant travellers or for those with back or heart conditions due to vibration and uneven surfaces. It is not wheelchair or stroller accessible, and infants are not permitted to sit on laps during the activity.
