Originating from surfers in the 1980s, coasteering has evolved into an exciting adventure for both families and adrenaline enthusiasts, offering a unique way to explore the coastline. Come and join us in Pembrokeshire, and experience it for yourself!
Coasteering in Pembrokeshire is an all-encompassing experience that includes rock-hopping, shore-scrambling, swell-riding, cave-exploring, and cliff-jumping. It’s also an opportunity to closely discover local wildlife and the coastline. You’ll be guided through the activity by our qualified instructors, ensuring a safe and memorable adventure.
Primarily at Stackpole Quay, the exact location for each session is chosen based on the day’s conditions to ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience.
Participants should be over eight years old, water-confident, and able to swim 25 metres. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Coasteering is an adventurous activity combining rock scrambling, cliff jumping, swimming, and cave exploration along the coastline. It's a unique way to experience the coastline, involving close interaction with the natural environment and local wildlife.
No prior experience is required for coasteering. Participants need to be able to swim 25 metres and be comfortable in the water. Our qualified instructors provide all necessary training and guidance.
Each coasteering session lasts for approximately 2 hours, with an additional 15 minutes allocated for getting equipped and briefed.
Yes, the minimum age for participants is 8 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please bring a swimsuit, an old pair of trainers (no flip-flops, crocs, or water shoes as they tend to fall off in the water), a towel, and sunscreen. A bottle of water and warm clothes for changing afterwards are also recommended.
We provide all the necessary equipment for coasteering, including wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and helmets. Our equipment is maintained to high standards to ensure your safety and comfort.
Safety is our top priority. All our coasteering sessions are led by fully qualified ISA surf and stand-up paddleboarding coaches and SLSGB Beach Lifeguards. We conduct a thorough safety briefing before each session and ensure that participants are always accompanied by experienced guides. We also use high-quality safety equipment and tailor sessions to suit the abilities of the group.

Our booking was at midday for 2 hours, but we didn’t get the stuff until 12:15 when the lady came back with the surf school. We were then told to bring the stuff back before 2 pm or she wouldn’t be there (we needed to get our deposit back). This…
Got some surfboards and wetsuits for a couple of hours. They were dropped off at the right place right time, he was very helpful and knowledgeable, gave us a little info about the beach because we hadn't surfed there before. Will definitely be using again and recommending
