What is PSAI?
Professional Scuba Association International (PSAI) is a scuba training agency with a long heritage in technical and advanced diving. It offers recreational nitrox programmes through to extended range, trimix and closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) qualifications, plus professional ratings for dive leaders and instructors.
PSAI courses are depth-specific, gas-specific and often equipment-specific. A trimix card does not replace the correct nitrox and decompression prerequisites; rebreather training is tied to the unit you qualify on. Training is instructor-led at PSAI centres with formal standards for gas analysis, planning and emergency procedures.

Choosing a course
Technical training builds in stages. Book nitrox before advanced nitrox, and complete the decompression prerequisites before trimix. Centres will check your logbook, gas qualifications and sometimes minimum hours on the exact kit. Leave a comment when you book with your current cards and recent dive experience.
Gas, stage cylinders, boat support and instructor ratios make PSAI courses costly compared with recreational holidays. Compare what each listing includes and ask about bailout cylinder hire and analysis fees before you commit.
Official standards
Prerequisites, dive counts and standards are published by PSAI at psai.com. This overview is a guide for booking on adventuro. Your PSAI instructor confirms the exact programme, medical clearance and local gas policies when you book.
