Enjoy a convenient parasailing experience in Sharm El Sheikh with private hotel pickup and drop-off included. After arriving at the marina, meet the crew for a safety briefing and equipment preparation before heading out by boat for your parasailing flight over the Red Sea.
Harness clips close on the boat deck while the crew explain the lift, landing and hand signals before the tow line tightens. Naama Bay and the Sharm coast sit close, so you are over open water quickly once the canopy fills and you rise. Stay still in the straps and let the winch carry you up for a short look at the Sinai shoreline from above.
Blue water stretches in every direction at the top of the flight, resorts and desert hills framing the edges of the view. Time aloft is brief rather than a long aerial tour, ideal if you want height without a morning on the boat. The descent brings spray and a damp deck landing before you head back ashore.
Sharm El Sheikh sits on the southern tip of Sinai, where hotel strips face the Red Sea and desert hills sit just inland. Parasailing runs off the coast here, so the lift is over open water with the shoreline in view rather than over the town. Naama Bay, Sharks Bay and the neighboring resorts are the usual pickup area. Wind still has to sit in a workable window before the crew will fly.
Resort life along this coast is built around the sea, so a short lift can sit beside a beach morning if you leave the hour and a half clear. Traffic along the coast road can slow a collection window, so keep a little spare time in reception or at the agreed gate. After landing you head back the same way you arrived, with the rest of the day free at the hotel.
No previous parasailing experience is needed. Sitting in a harness over water and following a short safety brief should feel comfortable. First-timers are the usual guests on this outing. If you are unsure about heights, say so to the crew before you go up so they can talk you through the lift. Listen to the brief and keep your hands on the straps until you are told otherwise.
Swimwear under a cover-up works well, along with a towel and dry clothes for the return. Keep the rest of the morning or afternoon loosely free. Secure sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat for the wait on deck. Loose jewelry and valuables are safest in the hotel safe. Tandem lifts are common when the crew are happy with weight and conditions; solo flights are also run. Children and lighter guests are often paired or taken on a shorter lift if the crew decide that is safer.
Private collection is available if you want the day kept simple from the hotel door. Fly-only sits on the same form if you already have a way to the meeting point and only need the flight itself. The crew run a short Red Sea lift with life jackets and a briefing before you leave the boat, including hand signals and how the landing works.
Solo and tandem share the same launch, so the half-day stays simple rather than turning into a long sea day. If the sea or the breeze is outside what the crew will fly in, the lift is delayed or moved rather than forced. Have a loose plan for the rest of the day so a weather hold does not wreck the whole morning.
We’ll pick you up directly from your Sharm El Sheikh hotel by private transfer and take you to the boat. Please provide your hotel name and be ready at reception during the confirmed pickup time. After the parasailing experience, your private transfer will take you back to your hotel.
On the boat the crew fit a life jacket and harness and talk you through the lift, hand signals and how the landing works. Ask questions here rather than in the air. Once you are clipped in, the canopy is set and the tow line pays out as the boat moves away from the launch area.
You rise on the tow for a short flight above the water, with the Sinai shoreline in view. Keep still in the harness unless the crew ask you to wave or look a certain way for photos. The time aloft is brief; enjoy the height and the color of the sea rather than expecting a long aerial tour.
The crew will guide you back to the boat for a smooth landing on deck. After the parasailing experience, collect your belongings and return comfortably to your Sharm El Sheikh hotel by private transfer. Allow around 1.5 hours for the complete experience, including transfers.
Hotel collection in the Sharm El Sheikh area is the usual option on this outing. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and keep a little extra time in the window because traffic along the coast can vary from one resort to the next.
No previous parasailing is required. The crew fit the harness and life jacket on the boat and talk you through the lift before you leave the deck, so first-timers are the usual guests on this outing.
Listen to the brief, keep your hands on the straps until you are told otherwise, and say if you feel uneasy about heights. The flight is short, which suits people who want a first look at the coast from the air without a long time in the harness.
The whole outing is about an hour and a half, including collection , briefing and time on the boat. The time in the air is a short lift rather than a long coastal cruise, so most of the clock is getting ready and getting back.
Wind and the queue at the boat can stretch or shorten the wait. Build the 1.5 hours into your day rather than planning another activity immediately afterwards.
Tandem lifts are common when the crew are happy with weight and the conditions. Ask on the boat if you want to go up with a partner; the team will say whether a shared harness is possible that day.
Solo flights are also run. Children and lighter guests are often paired or taken on a shorter lift if the crew decide that is safer. Follow their call rather than assuming a tandem is guaranteed.
Swimwear under a cover-up is the practical kit, because spray from the boat is likely and you may get damp on landing. Bring a towel and dry clothes for the ride back to the hotel.
Secure sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat for the wait on deck. Leave loose jewellery and valuables in the hotel safe. Soft shoes that can get wet are easier than heavy trainers.
Parasailing needs a workable wind window. If the sea or the breeze is outside what the crew will fly in, the lift is delayed or moved rather than forced. You will be told as early as they can once the morning conditions are clear.
Have a loose plan for the rest of the day so a weather hold does not wreck the whole morning. The team will not send the canopy up in conditions they are not happy with.
The crew look at height, weight and how comfortable a child is in a harness over water before they agree a lift. Mention ages when you confirm your place so the team can say whether a shared flight or a wait on the boat is the better plan.
Infants are not a fit for the harness. Children and lighter guests are often paired or taken on a shorter lift if the crew decide that is safer.
Expect spray on the boat and a damp landing as the harness comes back to the deck. You are not dropped into a swim as part of the standard lift, but water on kit and clothes is normal.
A dry bag for phones and a change of clothes keep the return journey comfortable. Rinse salt off sunglasses and skin when you are back at the hotel.
